The airlines can be pretty strict, they refused to board the lady infront of me on my first trip back to the USA in Feb. Also make sure you have your international vaccine certificate on your phone and a print out copy, just incase. And lastly make sure you are tracking the Australian re-entry requirements. 👍 Hope you have the best time!
Not sure with your timeline but if you got your previous passport prior to being 18 you would have to get a new one now as the adult passport is different and child passports have a shorter expiration x

we got it! we went to the registry of births, deaths and marriages in brisbane and we got it on the spot she had to show a few forms of id when we went
hey gal, we luckily had my mums original birth cert but just needed to get mine bc I lost it rip. I think if you wanted to get a parents birth cert they’d have to take in the necessary forms and be there in person to prove identity and all that fun stuff. hope this helps x

i transferred my passport across to the 10 year one last year and didn’t need my mums birth certificate. neither did my husband. i’ve never heard of this before
ayo, you need a parents passport or birth certificate now if you were born after a certain year to prove a parent was a citizen at the time of your birth :) This is only because I was applying for a passport for the first time as I’ve never been overseas, it’s a pretty recent change in the application process I believe x
Oh god, no Aussie ever can pronounce Paprika correctly. It’s NOT like saying tap with a P for the first part, it’s like saying car but with a P for the first part then the middle I is pronounced like how you pronounce the E in ear. Paprika- PAR- PRI- KA.
