Yay for 30k!!! If it’s any reassurance, I did my first marathon two weeks ago and had the exact same doubts you touch on about completing the distance. I found that the taper/carb load/race energy combo is REAL and you’ll def be fine to do the distance on the day! honestly for me running the 42.2k felt almost better than my three 30+k training runs. I think Marathon training is all about running on tired legs so that you can go much further on the day when you’re recovered. One thing that also helped on the day was running tall and trying to keep a smile on. It made me feel powerful, kept my form good, and had the added benefit of making me look strong to spectators so I got a lot of “well done you’re looking so strong!!” Type comments which was a huuuge boost. Also interacting with as many spectators as I could was a nice distraction hahaha. Congrats again on 30k! Your half marathon videos really helped me for my first half this year, and I’m loving following your full training ❤
Just completed my first marathon at gc marathon! It was incredible! I dealt with shin splints through out a lot of the training and even had to take about 4 weeks out due it. Just embrace all your training, the good and the bad runs. You’ll smash your marathon❤x
A tip for the ice bath - you can buy neopren shoes (?? I think that's what it's called) which keeps your feet a bit warmer. I bought a pair a couple years ago when I used to go swimming during winter, and it felt so much better. I remember how much my feet and hands hurt (!!) in ice water, and the shoes helped so so much. Hope it helps you as well!!
I love his encouragment!!! Keep at it! he's so right about the mental battle! Depending on the temp you can also wear diving socks and gloves which I do because my ankle pain is painnnnnful, I'm currently on 30 min at 10oC in my ice bath every second day!! You can do it. Awesome job on the 30k!! For your gel issue, that started happening to me too! I think it’s the uv light…when I want my nails to look nice for something I’ll do dip and make sure they don’t use the light to cure it and my cuticles don’t get itchy and puffy anymore. Hope this helps! ❤

Yes, Fropro changed their pizzas! The base, toppings, macros, everything! I got a bad one, apparently there's been issues with them but they're looking to fix! I found a box of their old pizza/packaging the other day thankfully but that would be rare now!
Hey Girl! Love your videos!! you may already be doing it but I take collagen every morning with my coffee and it has helped me growing my hair and also clear my face from acne. I know is collagen helping because when I stop eating it my hair feels more dry and I start breaking out again.
If you're in Brisbane you should try TH7 in West End their cycles are phenomenal and they have contrast therapy with either an actual; ice bath or a cold plunge so you can work your way up and try both methods

I used to wear hadbands to get my hair out of my eyes for my walks but I felt as it pulled on my bangs.. my hair is in bad shape.. so I switched to a baseball cap.. has anyone noticed a difference to their hair if you had the same issue?

Been wearing a bonnet or silk scarf to sleep since I was a baby. On the random occasion that I don't have my bonnet readily available, I will use a pair of old stockings- divide my hair into two sections- stick it thru the "legs" of the stockings and then tie the extra fabric in a bow.
I don’t think she has!! But it’s really common to not lose weight running. The “runners body” you see are generally just like that and it’s not to do with running they are just slim gals. Running makes you starving it burns tons of cals, you need to fuel pre and post. Burns a lot of cals during but not the afterburner effect that lifting weights gives. Getting skinny while running is not a thing. It’s a wish (weight loss) for a lot but it’s not a reality. It’s a lot of stress on the body. I actually think if you went from not running to doing a few 5-10km runs you would lose weight but dojng big runs distances etc actually makes you hold / gain weight. ♥️♥️
