Please do an updated video on this topic, but starting with a bare face and going through your routine, a ‘get ready with me’ style video. It’s more fun to see it in action and see your technique. Updated product recommendations too. Please! 🙏 You are my favorite style channel I’ve ever found, you’re truly inspiring, i aspire to be as chic as you someday soon. And I love your thick french accent. J’adore ☺️❤️

I have done away with a heavy make up routine. I am investing in facials and great skincare so that way I don’t wear heavy make up. Thank you for these awesome tips! Loved all of the product recommendations 🩷

Hi Alice, will you please do a video on the current makeup that you spot in your recent videos? :)

This is so funny! I only have a couple RMS products and I use that same concealer as a foundation 😂. Who would have thought, super random. It’s very creamy and matches my skin perfectly. I just dab some on and buff it to a very light coverage. Also the RMS blushes are great!

Less is more; I wholeheartedly agree. At the age of 45, these two items are staples in my minimalist aesthetic - Chanel Le Blanc Rosy Light Drops and Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint.

Dear Alice! I was interested to see this video, to find out about the french approach to make-up. I agree with everything that You say. I go for the natural look too. I like when other women complliment me how good I look without or with little make-up. Actually the women I am surrounded by do not wear any, or use make-up moderatly, which I think is very tasteful. With only very few exceptions, they look lovely.

Parisian girls usually don’t wear make up. In fact it is how we know if you are a Parisian or not 😅

Your makeup looks so radiant! I love using bb creams, Dr. Jart is the one I use. I agree that foundation can look very artificial and very heavy, but the BB cream just evens out the skin tone and gives it a glow. 🌟💖💜

Those were amezing suggestions. I have two lipsticks from mac I never use, because of the cakey effect they give (it's their mat line) and now I tried the tapping technique and it looks completely natural. I have a few more months before they expire

Hi Alice, I love your natural look! Like yourself, I’m not a big fan of excessive amount of makeup, foundation etc.; daily skin care and healthy life style are more important to me. And how about women of age of your Mom ? ( I’m one of them!) Do the same principles apply to them in Paris? Thank you!🌹Love from Virginia! Elena .🇺🇸

Alice, I am a makeup artist and your look is my favorite look. Less IS more. But I have a big question...As you know in the United States, Lancôme and L'Oréal are very popular. Are these brands popular in Paris? I love Clarins, Sisley, and Orlâne, which is very expensive in the U.S. What cosmetic brands are popular in Paris? Will you please do a video about luxury makeup brands, and more affordable brands? I love your videos and have been taking notes while I prepare for my first trip. Thank you!

I don't know if it's the camera or the lights pick it up wrong, but this blush and lipstick doesn't look any natural in the video. Also they are very different tones (blush looks warm and peachy, lipstick looks cool and pink). It creates a bit of a dissonance. For a more cohesive look I'd suggest to use similar tones both places. You look very pretty with the blush, I'd only diffuse and blend it a bit more to make it part of your skin and less of dab of makeup on your skin.
I mean it in a helpful way based on my studies of colour theory and makeup art. But after all, do what you feel best :)

I agree, the blush is far too pink... It makes her look like a 14 year old who just found her first make-up palette.

My after bath perfume. I love to use this one to treat myself. Use the powder and the body cream to be even fancier
