      God Johnny had it all, charming , a hell of a sense of humor, a style that was all his, good looking in that Nebraska all American way, there will never be another Johnny Carson, makes the world a much sadder place.

    Hang on, did they have satellite television back in 1981? Really? Can anyone let me know, as Johnny mentioned his satellite dish at 1:34 - Thanks.

      Yeah, there was satellite tv back in the early 80's. The rich neighbors had those big 10 foot dish receivers in their back yard

      @@johnking5174 I forget most of the satellite names but if the dish was pointed straight up,they would be watching porn. I think you had to pay a subscription fee to get the codes to descramble the signal. Galaxy satellite system is what I think it was called.
