When you use your analogy of the final brick. Do you realise that this is a direct conflict with the Christian faith who believe that the messiah returns? What are your thoughts?

Regarding repenting of sin God does not just forgive, man can use words and actions to appear sorry for there action God looks a the heart of man and its true intentions, the world view of oh you can just repent all is forgiven that is one of the biggest misconception regarding Christianity the bible is clear on this.

Phil, there's a group of ex-muslims here jn ireland called alliance of former muslims. Maybe it would be good to have one of them on to get another perspective. (You need to understand taqiyya- that muslims can deceive, don't need to tell the truth to non-believers.) If you're interested you could also listen to 'candid with lubna' a UK born pakistani muslim who has conversations about reforming islam, she knows it from the inside and is open to looking and questioning. 'Holy humanist' is an ex muslim brought up in england who has interesting conversations on islam on her youtube station.

Abrogation is also important to know which is that quran verses from the earlier part of mohameds life are a abrogated by verses referring to later times. So muslims accurately quote verses on tolerance not telling you they are abrogated by later ones saying kill the non muslim etc..

@kozytoes10 lloyd de jongh on his channel has some presentations on early history of islam and touches on christian influences. Jay Smith is another Christian knowledgeable on islamic history and probably touches on this also. He's been doing christian politics with muslims on speakers corner for years.
