The 09696 Mavli Junction - Marwar Junction Passenger Special train runs from Mavli Junction to Marwar Junction. It travels 151 kilometres journey in 6 hours 55 minutes, with 15 halts in between, with the average speed of 22 kmph.
Goram Ghat has been referred to as the eternal hidden heaven as one cannot directly access the scenic location via roads or other means other than railways. Here you’ll acquire all the necessary details about the Goram Ghat near Udaipur.
Goram Ghat is the “Ghat” section in between Khambli ghat and Phulad railway stations in a length of 22 Km. On Mavali-Marwar meter gauge line. It crosses the Aravali hills and joins Mewar & Marwar. Goram ghat is a fairly well forested hilly tract of central Aravali situated at a height of 900 meters MSL. The railway line laid in this Ghat section is a marvel of railway engineering. Train passes through an adventurous route and crosses 2 tunnels and 172 small & large bridges. The approach to Goram ghat is by train only. View of Forested hills, Waterfalls, streams & Lake during train safari is like discovering Aravali on wheels. Goram ghat & Jogmandi temple are a popular place of worship here.

Indeed this journey is very 2 enjoying .During my service in Udaypur in1972 to 1977 & Jodhpur Khandva travelled many times with family . Now we all want to trevel this track for just enjoyment .

Please ask the railway ministry to retain the metr Guage train as a history trains. Earlier I did not understand the importance of meter Guage trains but now I understand the importance of it now so please request the railway ministry to retain it for future generation and time and history . Ask the railway ministry not to think everything from profit or more train service to be launched.

No, As far as I know there is no place to stay like hotels & all but for return trip there is a train after 2 hrs
