Interesting story about this, My mate who’s an audio engineer was working in this box. The bloke behind Kane and Healy. You see how Kane was excited for DeGoeys goal but Sidebottoms they were both stone faced and miserable? Well my mate says that Kane and Healy wanted to call sections of the last 3 minutes but they barely got a word in and they made multiple hints they wanted to voice (look after DeGoeys goal Kane signals to get a word in. It has nothing to do with hating Collingwood or anything it was the fact they couldn’t commentate the dying moments and that’s why they are miserable and angry. After the post game talk and the sponsor mention Kane and Healy stormed out of that box and were saying they were paid to sit and observe.. This is no joke 😂
Great watching someone like Sandy watching and enjoying the game. Then there's Kane Cornes looking like he's at a funeral or something. Easily the best Grand Final since 1989. Such a great game to watch (unless you're a Lions supporter of course).
