What version of evoscan are you using? Have you tried using the reflash option on evoscan? I think evoscan is trying to replace ecuflash as an all in one option for flashing and tuning your car but I don't know if it will ever replace ecuflash altogether. I feel more comfortable tweaking my tune and reflashing through ecuflash while logging and checking CELs through evoscan.

I've always used excel to open my logs. Is it because you don't have excel on your computer? Notepad and wordpad will open the file but the data will be in comma separated format. There are some videos on youtube showing how to get microsoft office for free or there are free software packages like openoffice that have spreadsheet programs included.

Nice info this helps a bit, but it says its possible to view a log with the actual evoscan program and not just excel. Do you know the specifics on how to do that because i have been unsuccessful in my attempts?

friend you will have any idea because the evoscan datalogger saves everything in a single column in excel and it is impossible to see the record since everything looks messy

You said that "Knock Sum" was not really important... Why is that? Doesn't that show you if the car is knocking (detonation occurs)?

+Ilian Nachev Sorry don't remember saying that in the video. Knock sum is important when you reach 3 counts of knock or higher because the ecu will pull 1 count of ignition timing for every 3 counts of knock.

I have excel and now i figured out why my logs werent lining up in evoscan. I had to right click the graphs and change the .hex/.bin i was using as a template. ( it was using a really badly off scaled version of a lancer evo7...) after i changed it, the load and rpm scalings were perfect and the logs' data was able to be plotted on the graphs and templates. Hell, i could even make changes to my tune through it now, but i still can only flash the tune with ecuflash and ceddymods. (eclipse gsx 98)
