@@GrayArmyGaming great! Only one question, you changed the sequence by alternating the activation and action of units between the two teams. Can you tell why you did that instead of the standard that you explained in the basic rules video? I mean, both make sense, so, how would you compare the two in terms of gameplay balance?
@@vincenzogiambusso Good eye for detail! Yes, in the first version I had each side taking a full turn (kind of like Warhammer Fantasy). In the second version I have alternating activation (like One Page Rules, Star Wars Miniatures, etc.). I have found that the alternating activation is more engaging for younger players. It keeps them much more engaged than waiting for the other player(s) to take their full turns (especially if there are many figurines on each side). The only downside with alternating activations is that you lose some of the strategy that comes with being able to move all of your figurines in one turn. I really liked the faster pace of alternative activations, however, and it was for this reason that I decided to try it out in Basic Battles 2.0.

Thanks for the question, Aaron! This Thursday I am releasing another video with a Rules Run-Through for a Solo RPG system where I have put together a PDF of the rules.
