I’m glad you all listened to what they taught you, and didn’t go any deeper. I’m so surprised that they let you all do that without someone to watch you. Not being certified there is so much about diving that, “you don’t know what you don’t know, “ that can hurt or kill you. That does look like a good time. Putting it on my bucket list.

Free diving is so dumb lol. You can only go down a few feet before needing air, just buy dive equipment and actually experience it all!!

Wow i would love to do that! Although I would be too scared to go to the very bottom I think as I saw someone do it on video and it’s pretty dark. 12 metres is enough!!
You just don’t go to the bottom Lindy. It’s not a ride at Disneyland. It takes a lot of knowledge and training to understand gas’s/mixed gas’s/time, depth, and duration. What this couple did, without a guide, going down to 12m was on the edge with no training. It’s totally safe to do scuba, but training is a must. Don’t think for a minute that diving has no risk. These two made it look like an easy ride at a theme park. I’m shaking my head that they let them dive without real training.
What was the cost?
Around £300 each
That pool is pretty nuts at 60m deep. For reference, here are the PADI maximum depths by certification:
Open Water Diver: 18m
Advanced Open Water Diver : 30m
Deep Dive Specialty: 40m
At depths past that you are really starting to go beyond the limits of recreational diving and starting to get into the technical/commercial world. Do they allow SCUBA that deep or only free divers? As backwards as it sounds, SCUBA diving to those depths is MUCH more dangerous than free diving to them.
If you came here, as I did, to see the Deep Dive ---skip to 6:48. And it ends at 8:37. Rest of vid is nothing.

@@rippingale100 sorry that's not true there are Christians who celebrate it there, even halloween has been celebrated there recently. I think it's more of not seeing the celebrations publicly everywhere like you would in other countries but people of other religions do celebrate themselves so there is decor available to buy ect :)

Yeah a lot of people have misinformation about Dubai from the media, it use to be like that for sure but now it’s much more relaxed

Who the hell taught you to dive. Your buoyancy, read breath control is not good, you are finning luke you are riding a bike. Not once did I see either check your guages. Go to Aus, do a Cavern /Sinkhole course, it will improve you out of sighr!
It was just a really basic instruction lecture and pool experience to teach them the basics. Only a proper course will teach them more and heaps and heaps of practise.
@@juliaforsyth8332 Then if this was just a scuba experience where the hell was the instructor? if he is the one filming then he cannot react fast enough if someone bolts or has another emergency. That makes this even worse! The first 10m is the most dangerous, until you get into serious depths, with deco and mixes.
