I genuinely did not know the wall jumping in Mario was a glitch. It's so integral to the way I learned to play as a kid, that I just kinda figured it was glitching when it DIDN'T happen
I must say again: very high quality writing. I think many games media writers overcompensate for a perceived lack of "mature subject matter" by flexing vocabulary / syntax muscles needlessly. I feel that the Triple Jump team write with immense wit and clarity, calling on the more complex elements of the language when required, without leaning on them. I seem to be alone here, but I always thought Adam Sessler wrote game reviews with gratuitous verbosity. He'd use terms like "gratuitous verbosity", which I found very annoying.
I really like the "Scan Dash" in Metroid Primes 1 and 2. It only works in the Gamecube version (they literally removed this ability-like bug in the Wii ports), but you can use it to do crazy things like sequence break by grabbing items way before you're supposed to be able to as well as even skip rooms by dashing to upper areas without having to go through the entire room's puzzle or gimmick. It's also just generally useful as it lets you move around quickly while locked on. There's multiple boss fights where you're in a circular area around the boss in Prime 1 that scan dashing helps with immensely. If you wanna know how to do it, you need to be locked on either in the scan visor (hence the name) or in the combat visor and you need to do a dash to the side while pressing R. If you're gonna do this in the scan visor, then you need to do it while actually scanning since that's the only time you can dash. Once something is scanned it will instantly pop up the results of the scan. Once you get the timing down, you can float around so far while dashing. It feels really floaty. Try using it in Prime 1 on Samus' ship to get to the higher ledge and grab the space jump boots.
Planting items in Fallout is intended mechanic. This is quote from games manual: "Steal - The skill of acquiring what is not yours. Can be used to steal items off of a person, or to give a person an item without them knowing about it. Based on Agility."
According to Sid Meier, the Ghandi thing was never a bug. All the Civ leaders would go to war, and all the Civ leaders would use nukes. Ghandi was supposed to be least likely to do so, but India had a scientifically-aggressive trait. That gave India the opportunity to start throwing around threats and bombs much earlier. There was a story that it was an overflow error. Ghandi would get so pacifist, the game would glitch and loop back around to max aggression. I'm almost disappointed that's not true.
May have been early and fairly shortly after the police bug was implemented, but I absolutely loved GTA London 1969. Skidding a giant willy and balls on the queen's lawn, never looked so good! 😂
GTA5 had a glitch where if you shoot the centre of a car wheel, the car would drop abit, do it to all 4 wheels and your car would be lower than what you can get it in the mod shop. They took the glitch out but because so many people complained they added it back in :)
@@uzidagod ah yes, that's what I was referring to but didn't very well lol. It was funny the first couple of times it happened to me. Then it got annoying and I had to steer clear of any and all giants.
Man, I so wish Ben was doing the narrating here, I click back as soon as I hear it's Peter doing it. This seems like a decent topic as well. I just can'T stand Peeeeter and his totally FAKE upwards inflectioN and overeager emphasis on RANDOM words all the TiMe followed by the slow, deliberate enunciation towards the end of every sentenssssssss. It's like watching Friends meets Jeremy Clarkson with that boring bloke from Father Ted. His voice is so mundane, and he makes it worse with his QVC like intonation. I'd love to watch some of these videos, but Peter just infuriates me with his voiceovers. He's like a robot that's been taught to sound vaguely human, by a televangelist that used to go band camp, this one time.
You can mute it, put on closed captions and still enjoy good content. If there’s a way to keep watching rather than moaning about half of a great team, maybe try that first :)
@@platypuspigeon3103 or I could, y'know, just not watch it - like I did. I don't need recommendations by some Internet white Knight, I made my opinion known and I'll stick to my method of avoiding the Peter content.

Personally I love the Homing suitcase in Hitman.
Who doesn't especially with a muffin and a breaching charge device

Aggressive police is a real life bug
Been with you guys since you were with WhatCulture. So happy to see you guys have settled into a good channel that's nearing 150K. Love your content!

i've played MC for a long time and have never heard of the creepers being inspired by glitched pigs. 10/10 trivia right there

Prayer flicking in Runescape was basically a bug, and yet now it's an essential strategy for much of the end-game content
I love your pfp.
Really interesting stuff guys. One of the best lists yet!
Street fighter two. A bug birthed combos I believe. Which changed all fighting game mechanics after

Fascinating video. Good work. what's the name of the background music? It's super chill. Love it!

Pretty sure Combos in fighting games came from a bug didnt they?!
Oh yeah here we go! Bugs time!

Sadly aggressive police isn’t a bug, it’s a feature
