Well if we can help you in anyway shape or form let me know. More importantly unless it would affect one of your existing relationships, we would love the opportunity to try and see if we can get the veteran preapproved better terms. Do you know if they have a preapproval already?

@@lowvarates i did i tried to do it but my loan officer hit me with a 3200 origination fee + other fees
Taking my balance up to 107k instead of current 102k
My interest rate came out to 2.75% from 3.375%
I had to buy 2 points
Other lenders told me it was not a good deal
And to just stick with what i have..they recommended paging double triple payments to principle

@@Mike_Z_Gamer Who did you try with? Us? If you met the VA breakeven/recoup I would have urged you to do it all day long. 2.75% is a great rate, and if you are going to pay double etc, you get further by doing that on a lower rate. When you meet VA requirements, it should just about always make sense to do it. That said, if you have equity in your home (most of us have lots these days) you may really want to look into the VA cash out loan too.

Thanks for the great info. I started receiving mailers regarding this topic just 6 months after close of escrow of my new home. Is it possible to refi that soon? Thanks. Semper Fi

    Why no more videos

I love this question. Mortgage activity is very slow these days due to very high interest rates and the production cost of the videos is high, so we are in hibernation on the videos but still here to help when you need it. We will bring them back for sure.
