Mid-morning at Cheddington station on Friday 16th Febrary 2024.
Not much in the way of Freight movements, just the one. But a brand new Avanti West Coast IET on a test run and new London North Western class 730 Aventra which have only been in passenger service a number of weeks.
Also featured are the other West Coast regulars. London North Western 350s and Avanti West Coast Pendolinos & Voyagers.
All train info added on screen taken from RTT on the day.

I must say, that 800 series looks very smart in the AWC livery 😍
Great video, it’s good to see variety back on the network.
I was down the Line in MKC for the afternoon where the proper variety had kicked off.
Beautiful video as always!! Weird to see a full purple and orange WMR train operating a LNWR service even though they are the same company but surely LNWR have their own trains to use??
It's the acceleration of these electric and diesel units away from the station that gets me. What's that blue stuff at the top of the videos?
the sky?
That 805 look slower than the Super Voyagers they're meant to replace and they can't tilt either. Always thought that was needed to do 125mph on this mainline.
Nice video mate!
Brilliant video
Great Video. I Like Your Content😊
Since the 350's are being replaced by 730's, I say they convert them to bi-mode or tri-mode for use on the Marston Vale line.
350’s aren’t being replaced. They’re here to stay. The 730’s are replacing 350/2’s and 323’s on the cross city network in Birmingham. The 730’s will only be used on stopping services out of Euston. While the 350’s will remain on the faster & longer distance services to Birmingham & Crewe.
@@TrainPlaneHub beautiful Train 😍
Someone needs to get the rail grinder out asap on those slow lines..
