@@Jacob-nu4nd I know you not gonna believe me, but no I am not. However, I know how pratical it is to have short hair, and I look really shit with short hair (COVID time experience when all barbers were close where I live).
We love you Marston!!! With or without hair!!! But well done on doing something that means so much you!!! We wish you a head full of hair... and then some... ❤
Marston, I started following you when I was looking for fitness inspiration and I LOVED that you edited your videos like Edgar Wright. You can really see your passion, authenticity and personality in your videography. Sharing something so personal in this video is another layer to how inspirational you are as a human being. Thank you. And thank you for your video tips on IG. :) Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Dude, i'm 2 months post op today. Mine was a 3 day process for 3000 grafts (1000 each day). After day 2 I was convinced I wasn't going back for the 3rd. I was willing to live the rest of my life with a half down fucked up hairline. I was so exhausted and irritated from all the numbing injections and constant stabbing I just wanted to get on a plane, fly home and hide. To go through all that and then to have it all fall out during the shedding stage was even more discouraging. I know it's all part of the process but most days I can't help but feel it all went wrong. It can definitely test your patience!
@@ButteryBros1It wasn’t that bad I guess. I’m just a wimp when it comes to needles. The procedure itself was fine and the doctor was great. Very meticulous and did a super job. I had no discomfort after the injections and zero pain after the procedure was complete. I’m just a little discouraged now while going through the shedding stage. Patience, patience, Patience!
I enjoyed this video. Thank you for being transparent with your fans. It really helps those who struggle with loving the skin they're in, realize that they're not alone. You guys are amazing. Loved the ending, too 😂
Definitely get the insecurity, had it as my hair has been receding for a bit but I’ve accepted it, and definitely understand the desire to go through with it. Always loving the content, hoping the best for you guys!
Why so many people love you guys - not afraid to be vulnerable in front of thousands of people. Mars, here's to a successful procedure and feeling more confident in who you are as a person - thankfully you have an amazing support system behind you!
Thank you for sharing this, Marston! I have huge insecurities about my hairline as well, so to see what this process is like and to know the cost, is eye opening. Thank you so much.
Good on you to show this Marston. Ive been losing my hair for years. I even had a stint where i did that horrid comb-over thing. But at some point i said screw that. Got my daughter to buzzcut me and i havent looked back. You could have rocked the no hair, but this route will also boost your confidence!. God speed on your recovery and looking forward to see the results in a future video.
Perfectly understandable. I just turned 31 and thankfully have most of my hair but I have noticed some thinning on the sides and considered going on finasteride before I risk it getting worse. Love how you just kept it light and chill with the boys while doing something invasive like this.
As someone who has gone through this process, I can say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Good for you for making the decision and sharing it with your audience! That being said, I decided to go to one of the best doctors in the US and my experience looked very different from yours. I wasn’t given general anesthesia but they gave me meds that made me sleep through the whole procedure. I didn’t feel a thing
Wow, amazing video. I’ve been losing my hair for about 15 years, so this is really personal to me. Mars, you look awesome with your hair shaved. Really young and dynamic :) Roll on summer!
Losing your hair is like losing a really good friend. You will have some great moments together and some tough times but you never want to lose that friendship!
Mars, you continue to inspire… I hope you and Heebs know what you bring to so many people you’ve never met… Proud member of the Butter Gang… @tpottle… WHAAA WHAAA!!! ☮️
atta boy mars. i have been pondering this myself for nearly decade.. im only 32. shoutout to the gang for being there for him during that long procedure!
Noice bro!! I had 2 transplants and I have to say best decision ever! Next 3-4 months are the worst part as the hair will be a mess but a wearing a cap solves everything. looking forward to follow your changes! Cheers bro
Thanks for sharing with us all about this journey! Means a lot that you show yourself in a vulnerable state. Also the Buttery Squid Games can be in my garage next 😁
Marston, very brave to be so vulnerable! If this doesn't work.. I think you look great with a shaved head, being honest here! Good luck and thanks for sharing.
Great video and a nice insight into a procedure I think a few men such as myself have considered. How was your sleep? Was it difficult to lay on at all?
Dude still had plenty of hair, and barely looked like he was balding while also still looking amazing. On top of that, he has a nice shape to his head and looked great with a shaved head. It’s crazy what being shamed/picked on, even jokingly, by your friends, and peers can make you do. Absolutely bananas. Oh well, I hope it all works out for him. Seems like a nice guy.
Hey Marston, thanks for being so open about this topic. Really appreciate this. Personally I took option 2 a couple of years ago and shaved all hair off. BTW: being a Buttery Bros you forgot one important point: how did you rate the pancake you had in the hospital??
Thank you for sharing this…I always thought Mars is very handsome - bald or balding… very handsome - glad you’re doing what makes you happy, speedy recovery… is this procedure for men only.?
@@SubaruRob1agreed! Wish that hadn’t been in there. My young daughters were watching and I have never turned off anything so fast😵💫 the older one figured it out. She said she will never look at a churro the same.
This channel is so good. The best things that have happened to these guys was getting fired by CF adding Julian to the butter (and Mars got an additional bonus with getting divorced) Awesome video...well done!!! And Mars looks great!!

Kinda made me be grateful for my full head of hair. Because I cant imagine being so worked up about it that I would go through 11h of being poked by several people. The insecurity must have been gnawing for a long time to go through with it. Good on ya Mars.
I feel like Mike Wazowski hahahaha I'm in the video!!! thanks for visiting Magma and hanging out with us, we had an incredible time ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥 Hope you feel as hairy as a mango now!

That took some courage from Mars, especially to put the whole thing on video. He was looking like Deadpool there during the surgery. I'll be curious to see the results in a few months.
Marston, your vulnerability makes this one of your best videos. Wishing you the speediest recovery!
Dude, being so open and vulnerable is inspiring. I’m so stoked for you
