    Man, that’s outstanding. I’m starting CDL school in a few weeks. I have an app in with Maverick. They are waiting on me to let them know when to call my present employer for job ref/verify. Hopefully looking at a mid/late March availability to start. Hope I can get on there. They are my number 1 choice. I live just 15 min from the Fort Smith yard. Keep up the good work man!!

    Hey Big Trucking! I just watched your video about Maverick IC. It was 4 years ago and you had 180 subscribers. Lol. Congratulations on your success btw. Awesome job buddy. And I appreciate you willingness to train new drivers. You are very good at it from what I have seen. Question. What are your thoughts on Maverick IC now or lease operators in general? Your Awesome buddy!! Stay Positive!😊

    Hey, you really rocked it at 63! It's amazing that 40% of your total is your trainer pay, almost 10k! Plus, a trainer bonus of 5500, a referral bonus of 8k, and performance around 5K. You're an outstanding driver! Not everyone, especially the newbies, can achieve this. They're all fired up seeing your success, but it's not realistic for everyone to expect the same. Keep up the great work!

    I think those cameras mirrors are an unreliable distraction and if there is a millisecond V malfunction you are screwed it’s going to be on your company is going to throw you under the bus so to speak I would not drive for a company that is into all this high tech crap some people are too modern for their own good

    Im sorry but i can't see why anyone would drive a truck with that many cameras
    Either the company trust you to drive that unit or they shouldn't hire you
    I understand a truck is expensive to run with the price of diesel, multiple types of insurance, ifta, permits, plates, tires, basic maintenance and some i can't remember
    Is it really worth it to save a couple bucks on your insurance

    • @BigTrucking
      @BigTrucking  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Those side cameras aren't about trust. Those are our mirrors. Eventually, the government will allow just the cameras and no physical mirror. We do have a driver facing and front facing cameras. They are not there to spy on us. In fact, they have saved some drivers their jobs.
      Example:
      Joe Supertrucker is traveling at 65mph down I-40, minding his own business. Kyle Imlateformydate speeds around Joe at 75mph. As soon as Joe is passed by Kyle, Kyle swerve into Joe's lane, not leaving any space between Kyle's car and Joe's truck. Joe slows down to make space, and at the same time, Fluffy decides to run across the road to meet up with her friend, Mr. Wiggles. Kyle slams on his breaks because he doesn't want to mess up his car, forgetting that he had just cut off Joe Supertrucker. Joe doesn't have the room to stop or react in time, runs over Kyle, and kills him (Fluffy went scampering off without a care in the world). Three months later, Joe is sitting in a courtroom charged with vehicular manslaughter and facing 5 years in jail. Joe's lawyer is a good one and subpoenaed the camera footage from the driver facing and front facing cameras, both showing exactly what happened outside the truck and inside the truck. Joe's lawyer successfully argues and shows that Joe did everything he was supposed to do in that situation. Joe gets to go home.
      Without the camera footage, Joe could have ended up in jail. I'll take the cameras.

    why has the truck got camera mirrors and normal mirrors?

    • @BigTrucking
      @BigTrucking  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Because the DOT has not passed rules for removing the standard mirrors yet so we have to keep them. Eventually, they will go away
