Whether it is doing laundry, cleaning up after a meal or just cleaning up everyday messes….you are doing it out of love for your family. The day will come when you don’t do it anymore and take it from me….you WILL miss it. Showing love by taking care of your family is the most precious job ever.
So true. It seems like one day you are thirty something and busy with all things family and home related - AND - it seems like the next day you are 70 something and they are all grown with their own families etc.

How do you feel this positivity? I’m a SAHM of three toddlers as well, and everything just feels so…under appreciated. Which in turn makes me feel like “why bother” I’d love to find that feeling that this is a rewarding and precious job. 😓

Your not wrong but my problem is I'm th only one in the house that cleans and takes cre of the kids ect.. I feel like I'm drowning in house hold chore and don't have any time for my kids or even my self

Way to make me cry watching a cleaning video 😭😅❤️ I cried reading that story about the woman who missed picking you her husbands messes and you telling it again had me in a puddle. We sometimes forget how truly blessed we are just to have our families. Some people are not so fortunate. “Joy in the mundane” has been my motto lately ❤️
love that! Yes, so true. My cousin (29) lost her husband of only 71 days unexpectedly. He was only 31. Life is short, so thankful for it ♥️
I've learned that doing my husband's laundry is like doing a child's laundry. They are all balled up together, stains from who knows what and usually scattered all over as well. 😂 I do complain but what you said made me rethink everything. So thank you for that. ❤
Thank you for sharing that story, I am a stay at home and work at home mom of a 4 yo toddler and 5 months pregnant, I also homeschool and do most of the chores and laundry. I can easily get overwhelmed or annoyed at how much I have to pick up but seeing how gracefully and loving you do all these chores is a nice reminder to just soak it in and do it with joy, thank you! ☺️

I love how you explained a different perspective of doing hubby's washing. Im always picking up after my husband (worse than my kids sometimes) and I always grumble and get annoyed about it. I hadn't ever looked at it from the other side of what if he wasn't here. So thank you for sharing that story ❤

As a cleaning company owner in Chicago and in my 40's, seeing a young mother of 3 i that responsible and dedicated to keep the home clean and welcoming for her family, Wow, it touched me cause now our days unfortunately we lost that tidy and clean home sense:( big shout out to you lady, welldone! Reminded myself 20 yrs ago when my daughter was just a baby and now a collage student😌. One tip if i may which maybe you already know: use white vinegar for surfaces and toilet seats chemical free and effective. Also spread some baking soda on the rugs, carpets, sofa, let it sit for 20 min, then vacuum, it kills the bacteria🤭 anyway loved watching the video and again great job, be proud of yourself.

Lol, my mom would tease me because I would load the dishes a certain way so it was organized-so when I unloaded it was SO much faster. I don’t have a dishwasher at our new house but I still organize the clean dishes before I put them away. Otherwise it takes me forever. ✨💖✨🥰
FYI...saw something on Tic that you should not add scents to the wool dryer balls because they could be flamable.

We have solar panels now so now we try to run everything incl. the dishwasher during the day. So our routine is to empty the dishwasher after bedtime, then load it with things from the afternoon and dinner time, then the next day we keep filling it with breakfast and lunch things, then we turn it on some time after lunch. We used to do everything at night before we got the solar panels. We even now do all our clothes washing during the day too!

These are great habits to do. A little cleaning each day probably helps so much. I on the other hand tend to let things go and have to do the deep clean you were talking about. I need to do a little each day.

I always try to fold a load of laundry before bed as well. However, I have young kids also and totally understand just needing to go to bed instead at times. 😴

And then, they say women have it easy. There's always something to do in the house. Pair this with raising children, attend to their needs, attend to your husbands needs and also leave some room for yourself. And let's not forget about going to work.

Allie…I can relate to the widows story as I am widowed as well. In addition to missing picking up my hubby’s socks (and sock fuzz😂) off the floor, I miss his snoring which was incredibly annoying at the time!

Hi there! I'm new here. Where do you get your drawer organizers? I can't seem to keep my 3 kids drawers organized. I have a 7yr old, a 5yr old and a 2 month old(she turns 2 months on 11/1.
I am not sure if she got them at Ikea but a lot of people get them there
