Yes! I love it, too. A lot of them are over 100 years old, and some are so quiet and smooth. It simply amazes me. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I was lucky enough to have worked in my youth at the Greenfield Village and also for weddings at the Museums Lovett Hall from 1981 -1984. It is a real special place....and that Old Car Festival in the Village is very popular.
It just amazes me how all these cars survived. All makes and models. Then to have a fantastic place to drive them around The Henry greenfield Village.. Henry Ford knew what he was doing, when he had this built way back then. It is always nice to go back in time for a weekend to relive the past. Thanks again Tony for sharing something so wonderful.
You're welcome! I love it, too. I also love how so many dress the part and make it even more like being in that time. Thank you for watching and commenting!
What a treat to see all of these cars driving along! I can pick out the Lincolns, Modell Ts and Model As but that is about it, sad to say. It's funny to see the trail of oil drips in the middle of teh road, something which I'm sure was typical of the 1920s and 1930s. Thank you, Tony. That was fun!
You're welcome, and thank you! I absolutely love that place and especially this event. Once you walk through those gates, you are back in that time and forget about the crap going on in the real world.
Excellent video as always Tony ! I love when you post videos from Greenfield Village, definitely have to get out there one day so much history, its like walking into a time machine ! Amazing how all those old cars just keep running like sewing machines, they made it 100 years they'll be around for another 100 years at least.
Thank you very much! Yes, this is a place everyone should experience. Over 300 years of history in one place. I honestly can't believe how smooth and quiet some of those cars are running. It blows my mind.
Just think, 100 years from now Tony’s metal shop/garage will be moved there as a historical monument, and they will play his videos inside of it, everyone will be dressed from the 2020’s 👍👍👍
This is incredible, I had no idea that there are so many fine and wonderful early cars running and driving so well. I miss my Model A I just sold. Thanks for posting this.
You're welcome! I love that place. I have a 21 Model T that I really want to get running and driving before next year. Thank you very much for watching and commenting!
Wow! It's the oldest and longest running car show in history. It just keeps getting bigger and better every year. It really is like going back in time. As if the village alone isn't enough.......it really takes it over the top.
Holy Smokes!! I can't believe there are so many of these old Cars around & running. Second too is saw a Stanley Steamer in there & I did have a ride in one in Edmonton, Alberta back in the 70's. Also was so nice to see the dancing done when dancing was dancing. Those were the good old days.
Yep, there's multiple steam vehicles running around there. It's amazing that all these 100 plus year old vehicles seem to run all day long and don't break down.
Great video and very comprehensive. You only missed one aspect of the Village down in Walnut Grove. It’s Car Games and that’s where all the action is during OCF. For 2024, we are making new and improved racing lanes and adding a couple of new games. Come on down and check it out
Hi Tony! It was very nice to see all those oldtimers on display. I see that you are often at this location, do you live near this aria. It must bee nice when you do not have to speak all the time. I like this video.👍
This show was ok. It gets way to congested and i was harassed by an enitled old lady with a bike group in front of the stands. The gilmore museum is a lot better. More enjoyment there. Many people I know that had gone to this show for decades stopped because of the demeanor of people. But always glad to see others had a decent time.
My main complaint was the constant noise of the fire engine sirens and bells when I was trying to listen to the main presenters trying to tell the stories of the artifacts. I little would have been okay, but it seemed to be nonstop.
@tonyscarcare5657 I agree. What car did you have there. I had a car in the motor muster. But yea that kid and the siren and the bells to much for a basic show. Felt like I was on the price is right winning a car. Lol.
@scortia22 I didn't have a car in the Old Car Festival. Here is the car I had in Motor Muster. 👇 th-cam.com/video/qS2ySrX-_lQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=R9cQEEcBbcR3WwaR
It's so wonderful to see all these almost 100 year old cars driving down the streets in abundance!!!❤
Yes! I love it, too. A lot of them are over 100 years old, and some are so quiet and smooth. It simply amazes me. Thank you for watching and commenting!
This is an amazing video. No unnecessary commentary. The sounds and sights of a time gone by. Thank You.
You're welcome, and thank you very much for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it
I have watched this video twice, Busy place, I can tell everyone is having a good time, definitely want to go there someday, thank you, Tony
You're welcome, Dave, and thank you! It is by far one of the best places to go ever. I have a couple more videos from up there coming up.

One of my most favorite events of the year. We always look forward to GFV two car shows, Motor Muster and the Old Car Festival.
Me too. Those are usually the two weekends out of the year that I make it up there.
Heaven on Earth for an old car fan!
I love it!
Absolutely outstanding!!!
Thank you! I love everything thing about The Henry Ford. Over 300 years of history in one place.

Very cool Tony. I’ve been there a few times and seeing all these old cars is like stepping into a time machine to witness days gone by.
Thank you! I love this place.
What an outstanding place!
It really is. It takes us back to a simpler time.
Das grenzt ja an ein Wunder, was da noch so an alten Fahrzeugen herumfährt
I agree!
Have to put Greenfield Village on my bucket list.
It is my Disney World!
@@tonyscarcare5657better, because it is all real.

Great video thoroughly enjoyed it.
Greetings from australia 🇦🇺
Awesome! You're welcome, and thank you for watching!
So amazing all the different versions and styles. Great video!
Thank you! I love watching all the 100-plus year old vehicles run around all day.
Beautiful.!!!!!!!
Thank you! It's my favorite car show.
I attended the old car festival in 1987. It looks like it has grown quite a bit.
They told me it just continues to shatter records every year. I love that place and the show. It's the longest running oldest car show in history.
Simplemente fantástico!!
Qué suerte que haya gente que conserve la historia, costumbres y tradiciones de otras épocas!
Thank you!

Looks it’s busy at Greenville village at Deerborn Tony
@@ArtTrost it was another record shattered for this car show. At one time, they had 8000 spectators alone in the village.
This is just great. Brings you away from today’s world disaster
Thank you! This year's Old Car Festival is in two weeks.
How cool! I used to live just a couple miles from GFV and I never knew this festival even existed!

No, I'm 9 hours away. I just like it that much that I try to go at least twice a year. Thank you!
That's us at 13 minutes, crossing the covered bridge in the 1930 Ford A. This car retains the original paint and interior at 31,000 miles.
Oh wow! That's awesome! I'm gonna check it out this evening. Thank you for letting me know.
My arms got tired by the end of this but I loved doing it
Great! Thank you!
It's time for you to get your T running
It sure makes me want to!
I see blue smoke coming out of some of the tailpipes like they did when they were brand new?
I didn't know there were that many left, let alone that many still running.
Oh yes, some of them do smoke. It amazes me how well most of them run.
Most, but not all of the ones you saw “smoke” were steam cars.
We're in the beginning of the video! The old patina 1922 Cadillac
Awesome! Thank you for letting me know.
I noticed us at around the 6 minute mark, too. Do you have the footage of us driving by?
@JaycesVintageRadios all I have is in this video.
