Really impressive and unique car show. It's amazing how many of these old vehicles are still around and being driven. A true testament to how well built they were. Seeing all these old cars makes me wonder what it looked like in the 20s and 30s. No check engine lights on any of those. My dad was born in 1921 and he used to talk about those old cars.

Thank you for posting this video,nice to be reminded of where it all started,but if you have the time can you please help me with my 88’ town car,the front upper control arm bushings (I think the upper control arms are sliding on the bushings themselves is there any to fix them without replacing the whole control because of expense and don’t have the funds at the moment,I think the control arm busing holes are worn bigger than the replacement bushings if I were to change them,value your expertise,get home safe
Yes. It they are wollered out, then, yes, you'll have to find replacements. I've never seen that happen, though. They are probably fine. The bushings have metal sleeves. They have to be pressed out and back in.
Thank you for your time but will let you know how I make out with the bushings but have one more question and hopefully with your expertise you can help me with replacing the seats in my town car as in what can I swap them without drilling new holes as I can’t find reasonable priced replacements,my real question is can I put later town car seats in or plush grand marquis seats in,etc.,etc. Godspeed

The upper control arms have to be taken off, and the old bushings pressed out and the new ones pressed in. It's a job!
