oh lord. here i go. this will be my first "get off my lawn" youtube comment concerning party-goers. mostly because i see the potential with party kids today, and partly because i miss the "days of yore." let me start off with this: none of what i say is intended as hostile. as an old school head, i love that our scene has grown and is incorporating more people and ways of life. it's truly a blessing to dance alongside people half my age, enjoying the same music i've enjoyed my entire life. new perspectives introduces new ideas, and the party scene has never been void of ideas, ideological as they may be. i love this and encourage us to continue moving forward in this manner. now, regarding style (and videos concerning this topic) . . . the guys you've included in your video are class. i love their takes and there's a good amount of sensible information that will help first-timers with preparing for their first fest/party. comfort is the name of the game. and hydration. these are the two things stressed since the 90s, and it's great to see youtube influencers echoing the sentiments of logic. fair play and well done. now here's the rub: can we see more creativity from our fam? what i mean is, mostly aimed at our veteran party kids, can we see an increase of weirdness? you already know the importance of hydration and comfort. what i'm missing is your creativity. in 2019, at Imagine, i saw 4 gentlemen bouncing around on pogo-sticks wearing angel wings in gowns and i nearly fainted with glee. it was such an odd moment of unorthodox individuality that i've not forgotten it, and probably never will. i'm elated by this, but it also saddens me, knowing that something like this isn't "the norm" anymore. what i'm asking--begging--from our younger tribe members is this: be safe, stay comfortable, and be fucking weird. do you want to mock social standards and wear a shirt and tie, do it (that's my preferred party attire)! do you have an opinion that pushes social boundaries and makes people uncomfortable? express it! i want to see it! i'm not saying that people shouldn't dress the way that makes them feel comfortable. i'm saying that we have a serious lack of expression, and i miss it. most women wear bikinis and most guys go shirtless with shorts. it sucks. i know you've got more . . . show it! . . . anyway. solid video. good luck in the future, Emma. and cheers you fucking weirdos. see you on the dancefloor.
Well thanks for the remarks, as a young European raver i dont go to raves for the show, i dont care what i will wear or my mates wear as we dont go out to "reveal ourselfes" or "get pictures" or "compare who dresses the best" none of that matters, we do to parties to free ourselfes thru the music, not the clothes, but yes comfortability is number 1 and the only matter im focusing on, there is always water or beer near by so i never get dehydrated, i agree on women who wear revealing clothes, i dont like that attention seekers who miss the point of raves, men from the other hand get too hot and take the shirt off, i think thats acceptable
Yes this is needed, my guy friends always just wear a tshirt and shorts. They’re always saying how hard it is because there’s not as many options. I think there’s definitely fun ways guys can get into too!

You talked about perlers, kandis and pretty much everything about rave attire. I'm surprised you haven't talked about light accessories or light costumes. Lights are a huge part of raving!!!
You should check out Becca Grace Original she flows and gloves and covers all that stuff! But emma does show glowfx stuff. I personally love eyeloveshadez. Cool refraction goggles, gloves, wands, etc. Also her lunchbox hydration packs have lights! I wanna get one! (I rep vibedration tho so not sure if it's a conflict of interest...) I guess I could rock both!!
Great video! I think a cool or interesting/funny/trippy shirt is a must, and can definitely spark conversation. I usually try to go the "cozy but still sexy" route lol I've seen lots of guys wear very revealing stuff (mesh, visible underwear, tight fitting stuff, abs/muscles showing, etc). If you got it, flaunt it!

hey! Sorry if my question is stupid but I am legally blind and have no where elce to look for advice on finding some phaux/PU shorts for my project at this point so maybe you can help me out here! Im a guy with 32inch waist, 164LB looking for loose, above-the-knee not too short or too long faux shorts for my DIY goth/cyberpunk costume for music festivals, and cant find mens faux pu shorts anywhere so will most likely be resorting to buying a womans pair that could be unisex and will work fine. Here is my problem, I already atempted this buying a womens black F21 pair in med thinking it would work out, big epic fail! and that was the end of that. TLDR Wound up with useless buddy shorts-extremely tight and ripped trying it on. Those didn't have any elastic in the band and had to be tossed. Unfortunately I am legally blind and unable to read the graphic that shows you the waist sizing specs online let alone figure out how to convert womans to mens sizing conventions! So, would you happen to have any sugestions for a piece like this that is loose fitting kinda like more of a "track short?" fit that will work with my project? thanks for any help if you think you can offer any advice!

5:25 I’d offer to give somone a piercing by my own unprofessional hand before even mentioning them going to Claries. Claries is overpriced with cheaply made products. They use piercing guns too which is unhealthy for the skin and only causes blunt force trauma. You dont pierce with a piercing gun, you clamp the jewelry against your ear until it crushes the earlobe and forces its way through. A needle would be significantly easier on the skin since its sharp and actually pierces. I love body piercings as much as the next person, but pleeeeaaaasse treat your body right and do it the correct way.

Frank Huber The theft issue is mainly just a few criminals who go to festivals to purposefully prey on people. They’ll usually get caught with like 75-100 phones on them so they do it professionally.
Hahaha! Ok, so if you saw me at a rave, this is what I would have worn.... First and foremost, my beloved JNCO's, frayed at the bottom, every once in a while you might see shoes hiding in them lol. I also wore a wallet chain made out of a bicycle chain and an additional wallet chain, a very long and baggy Adiddas T-shirt, a pair of Airwalk sneakers, A dog chain around my neck, several "Kandi" bracelets on my right wrist, sometimes I would wear my Addidas visor, but always wore my hemp hemp necklace, and finally a little coating of glitter. Not sure if I am forgetting anything, LOL. Anyway, very much expressed me and my dualistic nature. For some reason, I never wore "kandi" bracelets on my left wrist and STILL don't. All I have left of all my former attire is one bracelet that I found a year ago. I replaced the old wrist band on it, carefully put it back together as it was, and wear it everyday now, even at the office. But, I also made a new one, so 2 kandi bracelets are always on my wrist today. 🙂 Might not have the look anymore, but the music is not going away from my ears and soul anytime soon. Spread the love and spread the music. ☮❤🙏🤝
