I have bought Series 1 chair (with headrest) as Series 2 was not available in my country (India). Headrest really makes a difference, maybe you can add too. Series 1 and 2 has different arms but I am happy with mine.

How do you feel without the headrest? Cause i'd love to buy Steelcase Amia, but it comes without the headrest... And steelcase series 2 is my second choice! But i've fear the cushion is too firm?

I'm indifferent about it. I've been fine without the headrest but that's just how my body fits with the chair. Could be different for other body shapes.

Can't tell you what I think of the chair, but I can tell you about the review...
It's odd that you do a full review but don't run through the full adjustability options. You spend more time discussing that there are different options when you buy it online, but I don't see you go back and forth in it, and only in passing do you show that it goes up and down. Too bad.
