Cammy's videos are like encyclopedias of knowledge and experience. With SO many weapons and builds. Still dummy impressed he and his homies are experimenting with out ppowerful the Shadebinder exotic gloves are.
The scope alone makes it top tier
Athrys, Forerunner, and BxR is still one of my favorite loadouts in Destiny 2. BxR doesn't have an amazing TTK but Radiant/Kill Clip is really solid and BxR's hip-fire really makes me want more hip-fire weapons in the game.
More hip fire weapons would honestly be so refreshing, even more perks like offhand strike would be awesome

on the tangent about movement, i started playing with cloudstrike past week, and managed to hit some really good shots, but at what cost man... playing snipers really is THE BEST option rn, but honestly, playing with an SMG and a handcannon on checkmate feels much more fun
When you made the vid about changing sens I also gave it a try with the goal of just having less movement required to do the same things. Now it feels just like my old sens. Just wanted to say thanks since playing on a faster sens just feels like adding another tool to the box.

It might just be a placebo effect, but it feels amazing in Checkmate. It’s my go to weapon on longer range maps, it feels amazing.

in the fairly casual skill range that I play at, the battler's high aim assist makes it an amazing pairing with the athrys's embrace. pugilist and blunt execution rounds on athrys hunter is obscenely fun when you get it rolling
i appreciate ur content so much, as someone whos just getting back into pvp id been kinda dissuaded by hearing all the complaints but after seeing all the stuff you get up to, even if im not doin the same ive been having lots of fun. used to be seasons would go by without me touching pvp except for maybe iron banner

The true halo loadout: use the master chief drip(on YT, just search it) bxr, forerunner, half truths, dunemarchers(has the spartan core symbol on it lol), arc titan with thruster(in halo), ballistic slam(in halo 5), grenade probably use flashbang(in halo)

Been enjoying pyrogale in crucible a little ngl, that tornado is a little nasty. Might have to make a loreley build but wish it didn't take my whole barricade.
I tried running PKs with Tarrabah on solar titan and using the current seasonal artifact and man, you can actually get sunspots going if you can melt one guy using tarrabah since that gives you radiant and sometimes(I think?) even tags them with scorch, spawning a sunspot and then you slay out. I got my first ever "Sum of all Tears" medal doing that and it felt really fun. Might try it in trials see if it's any good or if it's a 6s build, will keep this one in my pocket as well :3
Looks like Cammy uses Blunt Execution Rounds and Heating Up on his BXR. I can get the utility of BER (7:08, for instance), but Heating Up seems redundant to the frame to me. Is there something I'm missing?

It’s not much of a build but if you use the new void bow with disruption break and a kinetic sidearm it makes a really nice combo you should try it out

I love the battlr and love how it feels.
The only downside for sensitivity imo is that if you use it for a while, then leave and come back getting used to it. It is very weird, I personally play with controller on 20 sens and max on the finals and it's crazy but every time I take a break and comeback I feel like I was crazy to play on such a high sensitivity

Me, a new light and i I love this gun. i hated pulse rifles until i met it. I was addicted to Sunshot then i met my BxR , i got a random drop with Pugilist Incandescent and i am a subracer warlock so this was an awesome roll imo . plus it deals with overloads in season 23 artifact so i use it in some lost sectors. really nice gun .

Ironically the battler paired with the forerunner is actually really solid. Nobody really uses the catalyst but the rock grenade is a fucking menace and is one of the few grenades that can 1 hit kill
I was getting COOKED by bxr's in IB today, even got heated enough to bust out squawk-moon and hunt them the rest of the game for an ego one tap lmao

What’s the best set up for the bxr? I like it but it feels really weak. Shoots muffins
Kill clip/outlaw is still strong, as is killing wind, incandescent is surprisingly strong in PvP also. But at the end of the day hand cannons are just too good.
Idk I use the standard hot swap, outlaw, incandesant build. Haven't been able to make a shape yet, might not have to honestly.
Also forerunner 3 taps.
Why not go for high dpi and low sensitivity? On paper, it has greater precision than the opposite at least.
1600 dpi 3 in game is my sweet spot. Its perfect imo

have you considered a DPS switcher for when you want low sens? hold or toggle, up to you. i'd go with hold tbh.
That way you learn 2 senses. one is your main, the other one you're familiar with also, but it's significantly slower.

The battler was my baby when it came out, sad to see it’s sorry state right now in the competitive landscape. But maybe I put it on again for Iron Bananas.

i got a snapshot killclip (from before it got craftable) but i still crafted one just to test different perks without needing to farm it

I think it benefitted from range compression. Either it feels better due to some change, or other weapons getting their range reduced made it more competitive.

I was always more of a Halo: Reach DMR guy, and I'm waiting for us to get a DMX or whatever they'll decide to call it. I'll also accept a Craftable 150 RPM Scout with Enhanced Hip-Fire Grip, that'd be pretty dope too.

I will be forever thankful to bxr for getting me my first flawless ever as an average player. It's not the most OP weapon ever, but it's the one that made me feel the most comfortable I have ever felt for dueling, it gave me the full confidence to hold my own weight. After realizing that trying to be a part of the team, relying on my teammates (solo) and expecting them to do something every match wasn't taking me anywhere, I realized that I was on my own and had to make a big impact every round.
The game plan was simple but effective: BXR and Arbalest, which I know, I know... but in my defense it was my all-time favorite pve weapon, it felt natural to take it into pvp lol. Get the easy pick with Arbalest at the start of the round, get radiant from Rain of Fire for an easier fight with the next guy and with that activate kill clip for the third guy. The perfect hipfire made it very easy to fight people in the air with solar warlock, which catches a lot of people off-guard. Every match and every round I could use BXR to its fullest potential, always having a damage buff and taking full advantage of the hipfire, and the good thing is that with BXR as long as you are alive you have a fighting chance, like here at 9:27, with a hand cannon you will get flinched like crazy or with a weapon that requires you to ADS will get you melted faster because of the strafe reduction, you will not output enough damage thus not making a big impact in the outcome of the round, but with BXR you can consistently leave someone weak or trade because of how reliable it is at any range and any place, making the round easier for your teammates even after you died.
in short, BXR makes you feel like you can have two exotics on.
I play 800 dpi, 15 sens. I tried lowering it, hate it.
try lowing your ads modifier to like 0.9 or 0.8

Strand grapple hunter with Forerunner, BxR with Blunt Execution Rounds, and Eager Edge is maybe the most fun I have in PvP (and sort of PvE).
Grapple melee into a single hipfire is all you need. I have it paired with Demolitionist to get Grapples back quicker.
