Ali Siddiq is a stand-up comedian, public speaker, and writer out of Houston. Ali’s unique style of stand-up began behind the walls of incarceration, an incubator for interesting experiences and good stories.
People received their first taste of Ali Siddiq when he appeared on HBO's DEF COMEDY JAM and LIVE FROM GOTHAM, and in 2013 he was named Comedy Central's "#1 Comic to Watch". In 2014, Ali impressed comedy enthusiasts by displaying his ability to captivate an audience with his "Mexicans Got On Boots" tale, descriptive storytelling, with over 15 million views, of a prison riot on THIS IS NOT HAPPENING, the first of three appearances. His stories continued with his HALF HOUR special, which premiered on Comedy Central in the fall of 2016. Immediately following the premiere of that special, Comedy Central offered Ali an hour-special where he performed for inmates live in a Texas jail, sending Ali back to where it all started. The hour special, Ali Siddiq: It’s Bigger Than These Bars, premiered in February 2018 on Comedy Central. In 2019, Ali could be seen as a Top 5 finalist on NBC’s BRING THE FUNNY. Most recently, Ali could be seen as a guest on THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE.

This nigga Quincy got 9 lives 😂

😂😂😂😂😂
👀
🤣🤣🤣🤣
YOU ARE SO FUNNY 😅 AND RIGHT TOO THAT NIGGA QUINCY HAS 9 LIVES
"Say my man..." those three words gave that man PTSD 🤣🤣🤣
😂
😂😂😂
I mean after 2x and the results nobody better say “say my man”
Right 🤣
Them TX boys love to say them 3 words
We just gonna glide past the fact this man just turned an attempted murder into a stand up joke 🤣💀
Rite 😂😂
like we in multiplayer and someone popped up around a corner my guy
Pretty much😂😂
Yup
Don’t hold a grudge like him. Just let it ride 😂
That's the true definition of "On sight"
Facts
With his one good eye, damn 🤣 🤣 🤣
@@slippyquack7672 😂
Out the corner of my eye the good 1🤣🤣
“On sight and On site.”
Whenever I see you and wherever I see you at.
“Say my man, what’s your name” LMAO
If I was Quincy, I would never tell anyone my name ever again
NIGGA DONT YOU HIT ME!!....I was on CRACK, I am SORRY!"🤦♀️🤣🤣🤣
John Brown! Ask me again I’ll knock you down!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For years...the way ali said "mexican got on boots" got stuck in my head and i cant get it out..but its all gone now the moment i heard him say.."say my man.." 😅😂😂😂😂
For real
Bro every now and then I'll just lean in and tell my boy "Mexican got on boots" and walk away to the sound of him cracking up
Bro, Mexican Got In Boots had me telling EVERYBODY to check it out. That's some original genius shit!!!🤣😂😅
what does mexicans got boots mean ?
Silverback Gorilla vs Cobra Back....I just discovered that the other day...🤣🤣🤣
But, I died when the dad put cocaine on his teeth....and when the crackheads came out like zombies in Thriller.
I started laughing uncontrollably as soon as he said " last year" 😂😂😂
I was weakkkk!
Uncontrollably...and it lasted straight through him telling his mama to go to the car. I only paused when he was walking up to Quincy, then lost it, as SOON as he said, " Say my man," I lost it.
ME TOO!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
💀💀💀💀💀
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 bruv!! Me too
"I was on crack, I'M SORRY" 😂😂
I screamed!!!
Rewound that part 4/5 times 😂😂😂😂
Say my man 😂😂😂😂
Quincy damn sure need to stop answering questions 😂😂😂
Edit: I see Quincy caught on😂🤣😂
🤣🤣🤣
I don't answer them type of questions till I know what's going on I don't want nobody else ass whipping lol
LMAO
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Honestly after getting shot I'm never saying I'm who you asked for again. Not without a strap myself.
I think, at this point, storytelling is the best form of comedy. If you're not telling a story, or at least making it personal, I don't want to hear it. This is GOAT level.
Ala Dave Chapelle 🔥 🙌🏿
@@mendelfsisma5110 nah. This is different. Dave is telling anecdotal pieces. This is real live storytelling.
I still like comics who just tell jokes...but I think you're right...this is a whole different genre...he's not telling jokes, he's using jokes to tell his story...and to do a whole special that is basically one long story is pretty fucking excellent. I love Ali...but I also love Rodney Dangerfield who never told a story longer than a one liner and never told us anything about his personal life.
I agree. It's the imagery that it creates in your mind. It's almost like you're there with them
I'm the same way.
I have spent the last 24 days laughing at anything I could find with your name on it...and also mad wondering why you're not as big or bigger than some of these other comedians out here. You Sir, are the funniest, most real comedian ever and your name deserves all the lights!
Word🙌
Chillllld I'm subscribed to his page.
His time will come, all in due time; but he is very talented
Fame and mass popularity is what makes artists fail
Me too! 🙋🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmfao "Nigga dont you hit me!!" 🤣🤣🤣
I was crying when I watched this part on the special! 😭 😭 😭
@@StaticShockNene his prison stories and such are so real i did 5 years for being a street pharmecuetical rep myself and gis comedy has really helped me recover and find humor in my past
@@adamrich5632 that's good. It's not how you started its how you finish! I'm glad he was able to help you get through things.
Woieee
Ali Siddiq and Charlie Murphy are hands down my two favorite story tellers. They never disappoint............Rest easy Charlie Murphy.
Yessssssss.... Indeed Rest Easy Mr. Murphy.
Joey Diaz is pretty damned good too. 😂
@@beastly.warner ,Yes brotha Diaz is dope too.
Are they the best of the rest? Cos Dave Chappelle got storytelling on lockdown for me
That's right i can't forget Charlie Murphy.
My man’s held a grudge for 33 years 😂😂😂….. bet he still wanna take a lil sip of Mitchell’s blood if he run into him
Lesson of the story, never tell your name to strangers 🤣🤣
Truth!
Say my man 😂😂
😂😂😂
This is the definition of "When I see you..it's on sight" 😆 🤣
At first I was like damn bro that’s messed up you shot him..by the end i was crying laughing 🤣😂
To be fair, Quincy almost killed him when he cracked his skull and messed up his eye. I don't think I'd ever tell on myself like this tho😗😅.
I don’t care how many times I hear this joke it will make me laugh EVERYTIME🤣
Did this dude just make me laugh out loud at a true attempted murder story?
Double attempted murder at that😭😭🤣🤣
Multiple times he tried to take him out 😆
Bro was on his neck last year too😭
Don’t fuck with his vision fr fr
@@GinaJonesStillettoQueen right😂😂😂
No he didnt.he made you laugh out loud at a double attempted murder story.
Lmaooo Ali really got me walking around talking about some “Say my man” 😂🤣 I’ve watched this special at least 15 times since it released
My man said, "last year", and someone on the audience went, "oh lord" 😂😂😂. Great set man.
That "OHH LAWD" was epic from the lady in the crowd. 🤣🤣
It was the “I AM SORRY”😂😂
Lol Mitchell can attest that Ali can hold a grudge
That damn Mitchell!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭
Mitchell!!!! Is that you!?
this aint gon b good mitchell
See if Quincy had warned Mitchell, shit wouldn't have happened the way it did.
@@self-transforming_machine-elf was about to say exactly that 🤣🤣🤣
I know Quincy has a dang heart attack every time some addresses him as "say my man ". 😂😂
This bit had me dying. If you haven’t seen the whole show check it out. It is legit one of the tightest sets I’ve seen in a long time. Great job Ali!
NIGGA DONT YOU HIT ME! I was on CRACK😭😂
I'm sorry
This is gold🤣🤣 Quincy is tired
You said Quincy is tired🤣😂😅
"..and write the letter" i can't 😂 he talkin bout his life man
If your name is Quincy and someone asks you your name... DON'T ANSWER THE QUESTION! 🤣
3rd time's the charmmm
The whole show is funny, "Domino Effect" his story telling is hilarious
This special is his live at the sunset strip moment. One of the greatest hours of comedy ever written and performed. Yo I'm proud of this brother like I know him. Bravo beloved. Bravo indeed.

Super weakkkk! Especially when he said "I was on crack, I'm sorry" omggg
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The set up for this joke was everything!!
The tracksuit being the punchline to the whole show was genius
This entire special is brilliant, but this long Quincy-I hold grudges bit was just the coup de grace, I was hysterical laughing!
Only a true comedian could turn a dark story into pure laughter
"say my man, what's your name" bout to be the next "Mexicans got on boots"
Unapologetic, authentic, he tells stories from his past that are immersive, engaging and thought provoking. He managed to turn all that around and now makes so many laugh along together about those things that he went through. The way he took us all on that journey and brought it all together with that final punchline... That is craft at its highest.
“Is that Quincy?!” 😂
I’m in tears watching this!!
Did that man tell a joke or did that man just tell you an honest story about his experience. What makes people laugh are the facts he chooses to share. Some people gotta tell you every detail or gotta lie about details or gotta tell you details in a fucked up sequence. I admire Ali because of the person he is. Just keep it real!
I was thinking the same thing 😂🤣😂🤣
He is a storyteller comedian. Its hard to do and he is one of the best. He is a storyteller at heart
Wheres the proof that its real doh?
his timing is incredible.
@@wensleymichel505 I guess we need to find Bandit to confirm it Bun B does follow him on IG not that that means anything but I think it's real but that's me 🤷🏾♂️😅
Till this day, I don't ever wanna hear a man say to me "say my man, what's your name?" I'm running at that point even if I'm not who they looking for 🤣
Be careful. They might give Chase
Say, my man . . .
@@efanamethesequel nope! 🏃🏾
😂😂😂😂
In florida it's "aye you look familar" if you hear that shit haul ass or start shooting😭 I stg
I love Ali Saddiq. His way of telling a story is so hilarious, even when what he says isn't supposed to be funny, but the way he tells his stories makes even non-funny things seem hilarious. He is in my top 5 favorite comedians of all time. I never get tired of hearing his stories even if I've heard them a hundred times before, I still crack up. It is all about Ali & how great he truly is.
Every time I feel the need to hear a great joke and want to laugh, I watch this over and over. And each time I laugh the same! Especially the part when he gets to Last year, then pauses!! lmao!
Mitchell is probably watching this clip and thanking his ancestors for saving him that fateful day.
"Say my man, what's your name?" 🤭🤣😅
This shouldn't be a laughable matter but man i teared up laughing
This show was absolutely hilarious! I enjoyed every minute of it!!!!!!!
At this point of the show I was literally crying laughing so hard😂
I could listen to Ali tell stories all day lol 😂😂
If "Everytime I see you, it's on sight" was a person! 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you, Mr. Siddiq. I needed that laugh. You're appreciated. 💯
Glad you enjoyed
I thought he was going to say...he kicked the walker out of Quincy's hands ..because I HOLD GRUDGES😩🤣😅😂
I literally watch this EVERYDAY🤣🤣🤣
Me too, ROLLING
Me too! My favorite thing to watch. 🤣🤣
SHASHA DUKE , I WATCH ALI SIDDIQ EVERYDAY TOO HE IS INSTANT MEDICINE FOR ANY AGGRAVATIONS THAT OCCUR ALSO ALL OF HIS SKIT ARE SO FUNNY ESPECIALLY THE MUSHROOMS
@@gwendolynkeyes6396 I watch that one too🤣🤣🤣 and Mitchell 🤣🤣
The way he acted out that walker in walmart bit hahahaha
I learned who you were years ago at Comedy Junkies on Tuesday nights at the Improv in Houston. I spent hours of time across many days while in college coming down to have wings and a Heineken and watch you take over that stage. Those will be some of the best memories I have in all my life.
I appreciate you, my brotha.
Thank you.
I did all that for a fresh ass tracksuit. LOL
I did not get the context of the tracksuit. When in the story did the tracksuit became relevant?
@@syfqzk7249 earlier in the set, the special is called Domino Effect.
" Say my man, what's your name " gave that man sleepless nights 😂😂
When he said last year the audience immediately picked up on it I'm laughing so hard
“Last year……..I’m in Walmart” 😭😭😭😭
When he said "' Last year...'" 🤣🤣☠️☠️
Can watch this over and over.....
"EVERYTIME I SEE Quincy IT'S ON SPOT"
I love the Story about Quincy, Here I am here again
I Am BACK AGAIN WITH TEARS IN MY EYES😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro is definitely top 5 story teller of all time
I had the pleasure of seeing this man do stand up years ago. Ran into him as I was getting in my car to leave with my girlfriend, he just happened to be walking in the same direction. I simply said, "you were great man, keep it up" or something of the same respect. He spoke with my girlfriend and I for a few minutes about the set and if he is coming back in the future, plans to keep going with his career... absolute sweetheart and a gentleman. I wish you continued success! We have all done things, those who haven't: you are boring, your stories suck. That is why I am an Ali fan now.
It dosnt matter what kind of dope you use or sell but all of us can definitely relate in some way.. and I'm really happy for you from prison to this, it's a great achievement. You are an inspiration to all of us and I hope you will only gain more success Mr. Siddiq and also please stop listening to the negativity that many people say just remember you have true fans and true well wishers who only wants to see you do good and hopefully even better. My prayers are with you 🙏 ❤
you can feel the audience trying to walk a tight rope between laughing and feeling uncomfortable about the fact he just admitted to shooting someone at 18
That punchline is a lesson right there. His reason for all of his actions, is a reality for lots of people. It can serve as a warning. He really changed his life. Proud of him!!!
This was an incredible comedy special. Ali is an amazing story teller and comedian
I'm so sorry. Your channel has been on my feed for the longest. I finally checked this one out and let me tell you I'm in tears, sorry, I had no idea what I was missing 🤣😂😆
ALI SIDDIQ , IS BY FAR THE FUNNIEST MAN SAYING JOKES THAT WE ALL NEED TO HEAR LIVING IN THE PANDEMIC
bruh, i don't even need context, this guy can tell a story from any place and it's still damn funny 😂
This man has life stories!🤣🤣
He said, Last Yearrr” Lord I could not breathe 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Bro it's like you was telling my life story I swear you had me in literal tears. Whenever you come to the Chi I'll be there you've made a new fan 😂😂👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Please give this man his flowers. One of the best story tellers of all time. Ali I salute you .Keep the funny coming. 😂😂😂
When he said last year... i was dun... lol.. he is too funny
One of the best comedic storytellers, by far! Much respect🙏🏾
This man has true comedic talent. I love it. Been with you since Mexican got on boots
“I was on crack!! I am sorry!!” 😭😭🤣🤣🤣
I haven't stopped listening to this dude since I found him. Funny as hell man!
His story telling is insanely 👍🤣🤣🤣... I couldn't control myself as soon as he said, "last year...."🤣🤣🤣
I can listen to Ali talk all day. Great story teller.
Great story teller. It tales great skill and talent to perform stand-up while seated and command the stage as he does. He's one of the greats.
I literally love listening to Ali!! Over and over! I’m weak!!😂😂😂😂😂
All the great ones told stories while on stage. Add Ali to the list of greats. Love all that you’ve put out there my brother.
I lost it at walker😂😂😂
😂🤣 funniest shit ever I’ll rewatch this any day
Laughing so hard I'm choking!🤣🤣🤣
This brother is funny as hell, thank you Ali keep making us laugh...
Between him and Dave Chappelle I can listen to all day.
This the clip that made me realize that he was really, really gonna kill Mitchell.
My wife introduced me to this guy’s comedy. I’m glad she did. I’ve been watching him every since.
“And ima write the letter” my favorite part 🤣🤣🤣
This gotta be the funniest story I've ever heard but the only thing I can think is his homie saying " Man let that go". 😅😅😅
He knew he had the crowd with that pause after "last year" and "I'm in Wal-Mart" lmao
I've only just found this man and he's hilarious what a legend!
You want to talk about dope ass set up to a joke. It’s the fact he mentions wanting a tracksuit in the beginning of the special, closes with it, and is wearing one in it. That is brilliance
This is one of my favorite jokes. I've watched this over & over & laugh each time.
Nigga fired on him and they laughed at that😭
Ohhh, I remember this story. If yall ain't heard it, listen and learn lol I hold grudges too, this dude is my favorite human being on earth. Makes me laugh out loud
He said it’s on sight for life 😂
"N***A DON'T YOU HIT ME! I WAS ON CRACK, I AM SORRY!" 🤣😅😆. This had me rolling, his whole routine was on point.....CLASSIC MATERIAL....
