I don’t get why people buy automatic transmission cars. All you do is sit there and hit the go pedal. Little boring if you ask me. Manuals are better for tuning, the last longer, plus you get more control over what the car does, plus you get a better feel for the vehicles limits. The only downside is that modern dual clutch automatics shift crazy fast. And yes I know that paddle shifters exist. But you still get more control with a manual because you can finesse that clutch pedal to get harder launches. Plus there’s the advantage of not having to wait for an automatic to downshift. You can put the clutch in and select the best gear. No lag between full throttle and acceleration. But to each their own. Some people are too soft for real cars and trucks.
