That Acid preset tweaked right sounds like it can do a pretty killer Man in the Mirror synth bass clone. I am excited to get mine, I can tell its a classic just from demos.
Bought one of these last week and they are great. Best pedal I own, so much fun to annoy the naghbors with.

Definitely a step up if you use an expression pedal.
Expression pedal is definitely a must especially with Spectre.

Even though it sounds like one of the best synths I have heard I just wonder how strong those white knobs are , the knob on my Pog octaver snapped off so now I have to do with out it and its not a cheap pedal.

Jo- Love your reviews! I am now a subscriber.I noticed you reviewed the Boss SYB-5 as well. Which did you like better? Which pedal produced more ""synthy" sounds to you? Also- which do you feel tracked better?
Hi Jason,tnks for sub,mono synth is better for me , more "synthy" than syb, but tracking is very sensitive , you must play very,very clear.

@@igornikitovitchnosorog874 tracking refers to the effects control and stability of the notes being played as well as how consistently and accurately they’re reproduced. Keep in mind though, 90% of it is reliant on the players technique. And synth type sounds are one of the effects where technique, control and attack are most crucial.
nice 👌 Anybody knows how to get the that Oblivion tone alternatively? That’s the only tone I would need so i’m thinking not to buy pedal for only one tone haha 😂 But all those settings sounds cool!
Hmmm sounds glitchy on several of the settings.
Reason being it is mono(phonic) and can handle one note at a time only. It's not the settings, they are fine. You have to be extra careful when changing strings and get your timing right and tight. But if you do it has lots of love for you.

The tracking on this thing is very good, but you must play very clean.
How low can you tune your bass without loosing accurate tracking?
I am a four string player , maybe someone with five strings could answer this.
It tracks to my low B. It is a touchy device though. If you don't play clean single notes it will become unpleasant and glitchy for you.

Is the "synth" knob broken?
It's just a volume knob for the synth effects. They set the dry and synth settings at 12 o'clock, just to demo each synth type. I have the pedal. Turning those knobs past 12 is a significant volume boost.
I def hear glitches but I'm not sure if its Cruz your wife is active changing settings or Cuz this pedal is baws
I have the pedal. For me it almost never glitches like this. I think it is because the settings are being actively changed

I can see this working in synthwave music. somebody knows about if there is a pedal with more like "rave" sounds?
Use this with an octaver in front of it. Preferably an old Boss OC-2, T-16,Pog or MHX Octave Deluxe but the OC-2 and the T-16 ARE Rave and EDM. Add one in front of this and then an envelope filter or a EHX Attack Delay after and voila..Rave City!

FBI Agent no worries my low end cohort! Yes, I have used the Mono Synth, OC-2, Ring Mod, EHX Attack/Decay and either a Digital Delay or Analog Delay patch from a TC Electronic rack unit for hundreds of gigs and many recordings with great success. I also use the Line 6 Pod Pro (rackmount) or a HD500 X floor model in conjunction if the space allows. I strongly recommend any of those pedals and absolutely love the Line 6 Pod HD500 X. 🤙✌️

I did. I was sad about how it sound, when you play faster, @EHX bass mono synth wont respond properly, so i returened it back.
@@1999wes i perfectly hear you.. nothing much exciting about this pedal, i have found about 2 presets (out of 12 proposed) that are barely usable for what i needed, it was too little for the asked price.
