As an in-home preschool & child care provider it can be very stressful conducting a parent tour and interview. I have made this video to hopefully help you navigate your parent interviews a little bit easier. The potential parent form is an awesome idea!
I agree I give all my information before the tour, I don’t want to waste anyone’s time if I’m too expensive or can’t offer care for their toddlers.
I also prefer the children come on ours because in my experience the kids are much more comfortable after meeting me before hand.
I struggle the most with turning families away I know aren’t a good it. Great videos! I look forward to seeing more..

What site did you use to create your website?
Ms Cammy,you make very great points here. I used to hand out a folder of all my paperwork at tours but realized, half of the parents didn't enroll and I felt it was a waste of paper. Now I just email everything. Request that they read it prior to touring so that if they have questions they can ask when they get here. Your chairs are so cute. Do you have a link to where you purchased them?

I did the same thing but that got expensive. Therefore, the parent has to pay registration fee before completing the application or taking it.

I noticed that you have m-f, T/Th, and m/w/f marked for choices. And I noticed two different times 9-3 and 7-5. My question is do you let them choose the days and the times when they call? How does that work?
Yes I ask what they are looking for and then I check my roster to see if those days are available.

A Portable sink, I have one too. When the kids are outside I may decide they going to eat outside. Its wonderful to have. But I didnt think about it prior to entering the home
