I found a copy of little petshop in a cottage while visiting france. the cartridge was just sitting in a drawer I just played it for so long for no reason.
@strawhats697 that's awesome. Of course. I've played some Pokémon games over the years as it is from the time frame I grew up in realistically, but I was never a super Pokémon kid. I really loved the show. To be honest, as a child, I thought the games were supposed to be some sort of tamagotchi, so I was definitely playing incorrectly lol! I currently on pokemon moon and a few of the quote on quote "newer ones" i'm not sure why, but I could never super get into those games.So I always appreciate someone else who can because there is a lot to remember about those games!
@melissasearles1396 thise are my fave! One of the stores here is called a Machine Shed, they have pinball and Hella old games pay 15 play all day, no quarters! It's a cool gig. Parents taking their youngsters, i went to purchase some old ps2 games etc. They have those stacked to the ceiling and it is a tall store 🤣 i love supporting those retro shops, thanks, Melissa!
Never owned a DS but I have. PS Vita, have had it about a decade. I've always wanted to mod it but it always seemed too complicated. Someone recently told me it's super easy now, I finally did it last night and I'm SO HAPPY! Literally so many new functions and apps I was like a kid in a candy store. Even games I can play directly on PC (like Terraria) or through an emulator, nothing beats playing a game on a handheld. It's just very satisfying and makes you feel safe. 😅 ✌️
@dsandoval9396 I had a psp for a time back in the day but never tried a vita that sounds super fun! I have a miyoo device for emulating gba gbc ps1 and the oldies and yes it truly is like a kid in a dang candy store! I'd like to get a psp and separate ds for modding. It does seem very easy now, tho tedious time wise I think? What game did you start out with?!
@@DARKBARBiEDiFFERENT First Vita game? ...I honestly don't even remember now, such a long time. 😅 While I like FPS action games on PC, on handheld I love fun or interesting puzzle games. Even shoot-em-ups like Rezogun and Stardust Delta. (I LOVE Star Dust Delta!) Currently Terraria is my obsession. But uh, if I had to point the finger at one game I played that started my love for games, it's SNES Super Mario Bros. Simple to learn, and a bit to master with it's secrets and such. To this day around the world Mario keeps sacrificing Yoshi to the bottomless pits whenever they're both about to fall. R.I.P. Yoshi. You're always missed, but you always come back too. 😂 I also had a PSP years ago! If the PS1 is the king of consoles (personal opinion), the PSP is the matching king of handhelds. Such a great portable. There's actually a PSP emulator for the Vita (not official, available after you jailbreak Vita), but from what I hear _some_ people say, the PSP runs PSP games better than the PSP emulator on Vita. This gives me an excuse to get a PSP now. 😁 If you do ever decide to mod your PSP I think it's smart to keep your one original as is, and get another and mod that one. With all the time that's gone by it's safer than ever to mod a retro system with absolutely slim to no chances to brick the system, but it's still a possibility. But even if you're successful it's nice to have your original system just the way it is. ...Actually... I never heard of a Miyoo before you even mentioned it. It actually looks pretty cool! From the looks I'm assuming it could probably run a few emulators but it looks like it's main purpose is to run SNES? Is this right? That would be really cool to have! I think you seriously just turned me on to one!😲 While I'm sure I can run SNES on Vita, or even my phone for that matter, the Miyoo screen looks considerably bigger and more enjoyable. Plus the original button layout is hitting all the nostalgia points. I'm _definitely_ adding that to my list. Thanx!✌️ (Sorry about the wall of text)
@dsandoval9396 totally fine I LOVE communicative responses like this! I dont own my psp anymore sadly. But in highschool loved the sims and silent hill on the og psp! I'd love to get one again i fear of a psp lasting factor because of the little disc's but it'd be so fun to play again. I have never played a vita! I too grew up on super Mario for snes and the DS! The miyoo actually is for snes, arcade, ps1, gb, gbc, alot of systems actually older ones tho! I highly recommend onion operating system for the miyoo! I went on a whole rabbit hole of those last year and they are super worth it!! I kinda also meant what vita games you diving into now but cool you tried remembering the first! I'm diving into my sims agents and animal crossing wild world, currently. Both for the og ds

@CharoletteMX i want to get one to mod 🫶 this one is just my og 3DS I don't have the heart to lol. I don't have my original DS just the 3DS I eventually upgraded to so collecting physical copies still holds a special place in my heart especially when on sale hehe 🫶 I collect dolls and my Littlest Pet shop so st least I like to have the cases and games! I do want to mod one tho it's been a recent rabbit hole of an obsession
