This boss is a pain in the ass even on normal dificulty. Three lifebars and an extremely frenetic and evolving pattern is too much for a regular bossfight, he feels like he should be in the final stages. I'd be okay with having really hard bosses like this one if they removed the lives system, but having limited lives AND extremely difficult bossfights is a terrible combination. It should be either one or the other.
Even tho you were playing with the framerate handicap (the tornado growing too big and the freezing being too fast) you still found a way to avoid the full freeze damages, GG 👍
@@E_van714yeah, this happens when you realease shots while dashing (or dashing while jumping). The shot will deal +1 damage, you know this by the changing color of the shot

My two cents. This is like if you took a bunch of cool ideas for different bosses and crammed them inside one boss instead, and then doubled its health just to make it extra obnoxious. A maverick boss needs to have some strengths and weaknesses.

Your dash + lemon deal 1 more damage so use it to quickly pile up the damage

why charge beam him when you got a clear shot while he's taking a break from the storm?
Spamming the basic shot does more dps.

Yes, this is the main purpose of the 3 HP Bars, in future updates, X is going to get a bit stronger and balance the way through
