I keep hearing the complaint that monsters run away more often than before and it's one I've made myself, but I'm starting to wonder if that's a perception thing. I started my MHing with 4U and when I started playing MHWorld I thought, "Man, monsters sure do run away more often than in 4U!" Then Rise came out and my biggest complaint was, "Man, monster sure do run away more often than World!" Then I went back to MHWorld (i had unfinished business with a certain elemental endgame monster) and while I was gearing up I was like, "Wait... Why do they run away so much? I remember them not running away as much as Rise... Didn't I?" So now I'm starting to doubt the complaints about how often monsters run away, because I played the MHWilds Open Beta and it didn't occur to me that they ran away any more than I've been witnessing in World the past few months I've been playing around in it.
The only thing I did not like about the beta is that it had to end and I felt like some of the monsters were a bit too easy, but that is a practically nonexistent complaint. The game is fun and amazing. I just hope it doesn’t wind up flying too close to the sun in terms of performance
Monster Hunter Wilds, and its beta, is the reason i bought a new PC. Loved everything about it. Definitely hoping the difficulty gets tuned up a bit more but i suppose you dont want your beta to be breaking controllers.
Frame gen in Wilds for some reason didn't have input delay, I tested it multiple times, I think it's because it's 4000 series only, the Nvidia one, not the AMD one, I got a locked 120fps on a 4080. But still, the beta was old, they have 3 months left to optimize the full release.
Just to point out the minimum specks that Capcom published said that you should be able to run on GTX 1660 so outside of this beta those people are justified in complaining. Either Capcom needs to communicate new minimum specks or optimize the game to run on the HW they promissed. From my 4 (GTX 1080, Quadro M6000, RX 6600 & RX 7900 XTX) video card testing the game did not run properly on anything that had 8GB of vram because there was pretty bad memory leak so the buffer overflowed very fast even on lowest settings and made you experience the polygon monsters.
@@xYarbx Yes, but there are people who are expecting 1660 to run MH Wilds at good graphical settings are delusional. When capcom said 1660 will run Wilds, they didn't mean that it would run at a decent state, lol. People have 0 rights to complain about their 1060s. I am sorry.
