Beautiful touch with the bagpipes, I was totally rocked by Adam and Queen, The Best of the Best! What a memorable New Year! Still haven't come down from this extraordinary good time!
Just brilliant to get the chance to play the pipes for WWRY - great fun, an amazing experience, band and crew all wonderful! Glad you liked them Sharon!
I fell in love with Queen at 15, now to have my new idol Adam Lambert along with them just blows my mind!! But in a good way,Freddie is up there smiling and cheering!! xoxox :)
LOVED THIS. the bagpipes were awesome!!!! I’m a direct descendant of Clan Fraser of Lovat on my Mother’s side of which most of my descendants were part of the Jacobite rebellions and the Battle of Culloden, and were executed. On my father’s side I’m a direct descendant of the Norman Bernards (Bernard is my maiden name) of William the Conquer and the Battle of Hastings in 1066., for which my family was granted titles and land in Scotland. But my ancestors came to America. My great, great, great, great grandfather William Bernard being one of the first Virginian settlers to the United States in 1625, and my grandmother also had long and deep roots in the mountains of Richmond Virginia. All that said I’ve always loved the bagpipes, mountains, and anything Scotland 🏴 Even before my family fully discovered the intricacies of our lineage I have ALWAYS felt like a warrior (in the best sense of the word) and I’m most at peace and most connected to the earth and myself when I’m in the mountains. I want so badly to go to Scotland one day, visit Culloden moor and our ancient Clan castle as well as the town of Aberdeenshire. I’ll probably never leave. But I’m sure I’ll be listening to some Queen along the way. Maybe this performance in particular! If there are any Clan descendants that read this, please give a reply. Would love to hear your history and story!
I'm not a fan of Adams voice for this specific song but he is amazing with Queen. They couldn't have picked anyone better. a lot of people fail with queen songs trying to be freddie, but he does his own thing. he has the right voice and his own personality shines through
John Jamieson on bagpipes ist sowieso der geilste Jeseits von Wieso Das denn! Das Ganze bei der besten Band der Welt ever ist dann Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah after 10 years 218 sold out shows in arenas and stadiums in 42 countries, and performed to 4 million fans, a #1 album, and considered in the XXI century the best band of the world. They dont need a bitter man, their concerts sold in minutes. Adam is now a legend and the frontman of Queen, He is part of the band history forever alongside the other frontman. They just sold 36 concerts in Europe and a 10 days concerts in the 02 in London, literally in minutes to more than a million fans. More bitter now of their huge success and popularity?
You realize this was 8 years ago? Right? Why on earth people are so bitter and jealous of others success is beyond me. The band and Adam are living a milestone: 10 sold out concerts in the 02 in London, they just play in the Jubilee for millions another milestone. I admire them for their huge success and popularity.
@@thihoang3368 This what the real singers think: “Adam Lambert is the only singer that I've ever thought was amazing. I think there have been great singers, you know, Freddie Mercury, Steven Tyler, you know, a lot of great rock singers. Michael Jackson was one, but Adam Lambert is one I haven't been awestruck with since [Janis] Joplin in the '60s. I don't think anybody actually comprehends how good this guy is ." I'm like this Adam Lambert groupie. MEATLOAF Joe Elliott (Def Leppard) Queen "For me the absolutef highlight of last Saturdays show at the 3Arena in Dublin was Queen and Adam Lambert playing Unbelievable.. Legends of course we all know that. Adam Lambert will be the first to stand up and say he's no Fred, but my goodness one of the best live vocals I've ever heard. And Rick Savage who was sat next to me said exactly the same thing. Was Adam Lambert living legend last week in Dublin." When anyone that is a rock legend said the mimic is a good singer I would believe them. But mimics are despised in the music industry.
@@erikagolcher1353 I'm not denying Adam's talent, but I didn't come to Queen because of him, I came for Freddie, Taylor, Brian and Jhon, and the only voice that could replace Freddie could only be Mart for me.
He brought Queen back to life I'm sure Freddie is giving 👍👍in heaven

The whole gig was epic. I was there, the pipes gave the song a whole new dimension, well done!

Queen picked the right frontman to replace beloved Freddy (who is smiling from heaven)
Brian rocks the Hell outa that guitar!!! He truly is the best and so humble about it.

Die helene fischer show torben kock konatabass ❤anera kiekel
?????
Makes you feel like a goofy goober
What with the bagpipes
he botched lyrics
Queen is the best band of all time, but not with Adam. Adam's voice make it something common
So basically your love is conditional.
speaking of common .................................... you and mud have a lot in common
Adam Lambert is fantastic and is perfect for Queen.
Marc Martel is better

You may be right, but all I need is for Freddie's voice to be sung again, and Marc Martel is the only one who can do it.
