In this vlog, I will give you a tour of UP Manila, especially that of the white colleges-the colleges on the Pedro Gil side of UPM.

Im a nurse and I have big respect for the Doctors of UPM-PGH. Mababait, Matatalino at Magagaling. Walang kayabang yabang. Tlgang mahal nila ang patients nila. One of my Cousins and her father dyan inoperehan (Cancer Patients-parehas gumaling) at tlagng magaling tlga sila. Pwedeng ilaban sa mga doctor dito sa abroad. Karamihan mas mgagaling pa. Salute

I am binge-watching UPM campus tour po and this is just so nice. I’ll be taking the UPCAT po this year (kung meron) and I became motivated lalo na nung nakita ko po ‘yung College of Nursing. Next year, I’ll be there ✊🏼

Thank you for this nostalgic tour! Wow UP Manila indeed has claimed all the old buildings around Pedro Gil (and now it has been used by Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Allied Medical Professions). Next in line to take over should be the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals Buildings (the land is owned by UP Manila anyway).

Ooohh an aspiring nurse. That's great! 😄 as much as I want to help you, it would be difficult at this time for me to make a vlog regardinf this because of the pandemic. Most people stay in condos. You can search for people looking for roommates in Facebook groups such as University Trade. Or when you get accepted, upperclass men guide their freshies regarding places to live and give you options, or help you look for one.
There are 2 dorms inside UP Manila if you prefer living inside, although the slots are limited.
I'm rlly late on this, but a few questions:
- do the pros of this college outweigh its cons? (apart from the fact that up is one of the top colleges in the country ofc)
- safe na safe ba ang mga dorms dyan? lalo na po sa babae security-wise
- can you sorta divide the middle-class, lower-class, and upper-class students? smth like 4/10 of students ganung class
- is it clean or just like any school's hygiene policies?
- malaki ba ang dorm in your opinion?

- Personally, the pros outweight the cons, but that really depends of each individual's assessment
- yes, dorms are safe inside UPM. There are biometrics so that you could enter.
- for the social classes, I don't hav data on that. Sorry.
- level of cleanliness depends on each campus, and on each standards. UPM is decent naman inside the campus. For outside, it's another story.
- there are only 2 dorms for students inside the campus. I've only been in 1, and it's 4 floors. The rooms look very modern and new. The space is not very big, but not very small either. Just enough.

Hello! 😊 In UP College of Medicine? All college courses/programs are eligible. But if for INTARMED (the 7-year program for high school graduates), I'm not really sure if they accept nonSTEM. Better check cm.upm.edu.ph for more details. 🙂
May medical technology course po ba sa upm?
Hello! 😊 Wala pong medtech sa UP Manila. However, there's a program where they can also take the medtech licensure exam, and it's BS in Public Health.

Hello, Stephen! 😄 For UPCM, any college degree is okay. However, for other medical schools, they require certain units of biology, chemistry, and physics. You might want to check every school's requirements because they differ. Hope this helps! 😊

how much po yung monthly rent sa dorm niyo and for 1 person lang po ba siya?
It's P5,000 per month plus utilities. And it's 4 people per room with kitchenette, toilet, shower, 2 sinks. Each person will have a study table, chair, and locker.

Hi, so I just want to ask if it is allowed to wear male uniforms in college if I am transgender?
Hello! Wala namang uniform sa UP, so you're free to wear anything you want. 😄 and for those colleges with uniforms (public health, pharmacy, allied medical professions), the uniforms for males and females look the same. For nursing, I think they'll respect your choice. 🙂

Tanong lng po Sir Am Kano Tuition?
Hello! Free tuition po sa mga state universities, and UP is one of them. So basically, free. But it's around P50,000 per sem kapag walang scholarship or state subsidy. :)
Kailan po ang UPCAT 2021??

Hello, Kyleu! 😄 yup, naka aircon naman mga rooms where we had our classes. Not sure lang sa other colleges since I didn't do my undergrad in UPM, pero most likely yes.
Yeah it has to be, as the campus is in Manila (compared to Diliman where some of the classrooms there are non-aircon).

Hello! 😄 The dorm where I stayed the past 3 years, which is inside the campus, costs P5,000 monthly + water and electric bill, free internet. There's a new dorm inside the campus and it's cheaper, but I don't know the exact rent. There are also cheaper dorms and boarding houses outside the campus. As for condos, the rent varies, but in general they're more expensive.

Hello, Kate! 😊 Tuition fee for med po ba? If yes, almost 50K, pero there are scholarships and state subsidies so it can be way cheaper.

paki sabi bulok ng utok ng current chancellor ng UP Manila. Ang dumi ng environment. Hindi conducive for learning. Ang dumi2 ng area. Hindi man lang ni landscape ang mga garden. Samantalang ang UP Diliman ang ganda2 ang napakalinis.
