Bulky Bob-Ombs redemption arc was nothing short of inspirational. Seeing that little guy pacing back and forth prior to eruption for a massive 12 damage brought me to tears. Never let anyone stop you from chasing your dreams!

So the thing about Poison Mushrooms:
They have a VERY LOW chance to MAX HEAL your HP. And that's absolutely what that Koopa was banking on.
I had an enemy use it on me once in this mod and that chance actually procced.
i like how being dizzy doesnt change how superguards work like "yes i am not fully aware of my surroundings and am unable to hit an enemy with my comically large hammer 100% of the time but i can obviously still hit a button in a 3 frame time window"
Maybe superguard is a reflex Mario has that if stuff gets close to him or if he feels a projectile is going to be thrown at him he just flail-spins?
Man, that 600% HP Big Boo is a terrifying looking boss with that damage on top of how long he lasts
This was a fun watch; you got absolutely robbed on that Floor 10 reward, lol.
For reference, enemies can't call for backup after turn 5 in this mod just to make settings like this a _little_ less impossible. Poison Shrooms can be used on any party, but have a 33% chance to backfire (vs. 20% in the original game), to disincentivize just wrecking bosses with them.
A'ight man, I gotta tell you this even if you've already recorded part 2 so that for future TTYD vids you have this knowledge -- BINGO isn't random LOL You can time your A press to get it every single time (which also means you can guarantee to never get a Poison Shroom BINGO).
Yeah somebody else in another comment told me this lmaooo, I guess it's just one of those things that I assumed was random evver since I played this game as a kid and just thought that a slot machine thing would be random haha.

9:16 You can use poison shrooms on enemies now, and they can't have absurd Bug Fables poison builds. Not sure if it would be worth it in most cases, though.

How does an enemy even get to 10 health if it's multiplied by 4?

my suggestion would be to have the hp multiplier at 100% but the attack multiplier at 800% so superguarding is pretty much required and it feels like youre fighting shadow queen at level 1
though, judging by your gameplay, i wouldnt be surprised if you already did that exact thing >->

Oh right, I dunno if commenting on old videos will show up on your end but here's a run idea. Can you play TTYD as The Great Gonzalez/With Grubba as God/something. Basically you set up a randomizer or roll a dice or something and apply Grubba's conditions to every fight in the game.
You gotta make it take star power to super guard and if you it A,B,Y,X,A,B,Y,X there should be secret options change mega and power rush to % values so danger is 30%hp and peril is 10% but you should make mega abs power rush only 1 and 2
