Another awesome vegan food review video Amir & Diana. Yummy 😋 vegan food and great to hear of a cafe/restaurant changing from selling the usual non vegan food to being vegan. Love 🥰 the video and love ❤️Amir & 💖 Diana. Hopefully you get to your subscribers goal my goal is to get to the 1,000 required for montenisation.
Hello! Vietnamese from California here! Hiya Vegan Twosome! Can't wait to visit your neck of the woods in the near future!! I do agree that the brown rice is a bit strange (since typically this dish is made with a type of white rice called broken rice) and I'm sure it was even worst since it was dry as you said. I also think that the 1 slice of meat was also underwhelming. However, I just wanted to let you know that you're actually supposed to drench the food in the "fish sauce" instead of using it as a dip. This would 100% have made the meal more satisfying (it would have helped with the dryness of certain food items you both talked about.) Also just to let you know, the pate-looking thing is called chả trứng, its like a steamed egg meat loaf. The taro dish is trying to replicate Bì, which is shredded pork, but I do agree, from looking at it, it looks very dry. I have to give them credit for trying though, since they are transitioning. Hopefully it gets better over time, but yes, next time, if you're willing to try that dish again, make sure you pour the sauce over the food!! If you're curious and want to learn more, look up Cơm tấm (Vietnamese broken rice); you can also look up Cơm tấm chay (chay added at the end means vegetarian, which, for the most part, also tends to mean vegan). Cheers!!!
@@duytu2134 that’s awesome. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts. I did dump the sauce on it once I started to eat it. What would your favourite Vietnamese’s dish be?
@@VeganTwosome Heck yeah man! You GOTTA HAWKTUAH THAT SAWCEEE ON THAT THING LOL...anyways....man..that's a loaded question lol...here are some of my favorites.. Honestly, from looking at all the restaurants you've gone to and looking at the vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver on Happycow; I have to say there aren't really any great vietnamese restaurants. The options just seem very americanized and/or fushionized. Some options I see look possibly "okay" but it definitely seems very culturally diluted if that makes sense (either having non-vietnamese but asian-inspired dishes or just having things that you wouldn't normally find in a Vietnamese place. No judgement to these places; it's a common tactic when your customerbase is primarily non-vietnamese (and also no judgement if you or anyone enjoys these dishes! To each their own.) If you ever make your way to the SF Bay Area, let me know and I will take you out for some amazing vegan vietnamese food.

Amir, if you were an assassin, you’d totally say, 'This isn’t personal, this is business…' just before plunging the knife with the disappointing "house special" partially hanging on it into the poor guy's heart mercilessly. keep up the good work!
