@art-games6230 that's where all the artillery and tanks come in handy... and the 60 cadians and 30 scions... i was debating grabbing 2 boxes of kaserkin on my lgs black Friday sale but I might not with this new drop whenever it happens... i want to double my krieg to 60 that way I have the max 3 full bricks of them

@The_Penguin_8964 damn it forgot battleline can go 6 copies max. I usually do small 500-750 with friend and his son. I compete a bit in 2v2 1k each but I usually play armor. But I'm trying to coax my friend son in a meme list. As much as cheap Fodder on the board as humanely possible. We are close to 300 bodies. They have us pick a team name for these events ours would be 'send dudes'. 1k of nids 1k of guard.. mass cadians and hormagaunts
Let’s just pretend the new combat patrol box wasn’t unveiled. All the new stuff released looks so good. Who needs rent payments, right? I’m sure the Krieg will cover my rent
@ That isn’t even the biggest thing that I hate about it. Calculating the points cost, it totals up to 295. It’s 55 points less than the current combat patrol, and is much less stackable, since I’m sure more folk would rather have a number of infantry blobs than a horde of cavalry.
@@bubblesofthecoast6393 IMO it is by far the worst combat patrol i've ever laid my eyes on. They really should've made one with a krieg 20 man squad, command squad, and maybe an arty piece or some death riders and it would've been halfway decent.
@ And it’s not like they’re against putting kill team stuff in combat patrols, since kasrkin are in the new one. All they needed to do was just remake the current combat patrol but with kriegers and it would’ve been fine, but it’s just an absolute waste of money to get the new one unless you just so happened to be looking for the units included within a larger list, rather than as a good starting point
I originally only had a few marines a razorback and a leman Russ ( I’m new to warhammer ) but seeing the fraking DEATH RIDERS has switched me to the Kriegsman as an army
They said new codex for Astra Militarum will be available for sale shortly after Krieg boxes come out. One comes with the box also. Only differences are the covers, the one with the Krieg box is kinda fancy in comparison but both will have the same rules and such
Because they are inspired by WW1 and the Guard in general has had riders since atleast the second edition and the Death Korps specifically has had Death Riders for the last 18 years.

I don't understand, why is there horses? They are literally fighting lasers and plasma....

Also those horses are genetically modified carnivorous monsters the size of polar bears they aren't normal horses.
Never disrespect the carvery charge when everything is an acceptable loss.
