There were a lot of sections of Walmart that they didn't film in. Automotive, hardware, electronics, arts & crafts, school & office supplies, shoes, baby clothes & strollers, pet foods & accessories, alcohol, any of the sporting goods except for the firearms--camping gear, fishing tackle, golf gear, etc.--all that never showed up in the video. Walmart is one of those places where you can go and buy a gallon of paint, a ladder, a trashcan, chlorine for your swimming pool, a spare tire for your car, groceries, printer paper, a 50" TV, candy, a bicycle, a bottle of wine, a hammer, clothes, fresh veggies, new speakers for your car stereo, hedge clippers, baby food, and a book--all without leaving the building.

Ghirardell is American, created San Francisco in the 1900s. Currently own by Lindt. It’s less commonly known and of course a bit more expensive but really good. American makes tons of chocolate but most are not as available or as affordable as Hershey’s. Don’t measure all of our chocolate based on Hershey’s.

Fact: Even though they are now owned by Lindt the Ghirardelli brand consistently gets rated higher in quality, taste and purity. Many Americans purchase weapons at Gun Shops, Military Surplus Stores, Second Hand Stores, Gun Shows or from an friend or associate. There are federal regulations that gun retailers must comply such as background check upon the gun buyer and this lengthy process takes time before a person can take possession of the firearm. In other words, you cannot just pick out a firearm (excluding BB guns and rifles) at the store counter and take it home that same day. Used to be you could but not anymore. Phil the German guy definitely couldn't buy a firearm. FYI: Suave is not a Walmart brand just like Frito Lay brand is not a Walmart brand, this American girl isn't the sharpest crayon in the box.🤔

And I don't think energy drinks are good for you, but I've seen Europeans go off on stuff like that and how they don't allow certain levels of caffeine, etc. But they allow people to buy alcohol, cigarettes, etc. I don't understand why they think it's fine for government to dictate what people are allowed to eat or drink in some cases, yet think it's fine to allow other things that are bad for you.

To this day I'm still super-picky about how I bag my groceries to make sure cold items are bundled together in a double bag to stay cold, fragile stuff is isolated, anything that could spill is carefully propped up between other items, even though it's NOT going to spend a half hour bumping and rolling around the inside of a super-hot trunk in summer anymore.

The big box stores have swimwear, pool toys, etc out in March in most of the U.S. (even in parts of the country where you can't swim until late May) I don't see how that is so much different from having Halloween candy out in late August or Christmas decor out in October. I don't know 'what caused what'. When I was kid way back in the 70s most people didn't put up their Christmas tree on Thanksgiving or Christmas lights the week after Halloween.

the strange prices are based on several factors at walmart. first there is the manufacture suggested price (which can be anything. the manufacture sets it based on the cost to manufacture and adds a percentage of profit for the store that will sell it), then walmart decides if they want to raise it slightly, sometimes the product is on sale, which changes the price again and then there are 'clearance' products (which are products that won't be sold again, so they are getting rid of their stock) which is set at a different price. and these are just a few factors that go into setting a price.

Some businesses don't like them because they have technical issues as well as people not being so honest and shoplifting. Then of course there are a lot of people who just don't like doing it period.

Food in the US is typically marked in both imperial and metric units (I think by law in the 80s). We generally stock 2 liter bottles of soda - but beware, they are sometimes expensive depending on the brand. Although he was surprised at the chicken bag, it is a ten piece bag. If you have a family, you can get a bag and just cook however many pieces you need. Same with hamburger patties and certain other foods.
It's worth noting that imperial/metric is kind of irrelevant in a grocery store. If you are following a recipe, it might call for a can of this or that. I'd challenge anybody to know what the exact amount was in a given can of soup. It's not a whole number in either imperial or metric. Milk is sold in half-gallon and gallon, but when you use it for cereal you don't measure it out. Even if you follow a recipe calling for a measured amount, you still tend to buy milk when the container gets low - not when you fall below a measured amount. Potatoes are sold by the pound (5 pounds, ten, twenty), but again you're really buying for use - you don't cook a meal with a recipe calling for 2.5 pounds of potatoes - or any other fruit/veg. You get what a recipe says is the minimum and work from there.

There are a couple of reasons why Walmart can sell products at a cheaper price than most individual stores that sell products to their specialty, one reason is they can bring in more customers with a huge variety of goods for sale, aka 'one-place shopping'. Another reason - and I'm speaking about their electronics department - is that some products were manufactured by the same companies as the products sold in the higher-end stores but their internal structures were made with cheaper parts. TV manufacturers like LG, Samsung, etc. will state their products have a life expectancy of 20-40 years, this would be correct if the TV was purchased from Best Buy or Circuit City. But if the TV was purchased from Walmart, that would drop to around 15-30 years due to the cheaper parts the TV was built with.
The same could be said about Walmart's 'in-house' brand (Great Value). Most of the name-brand products sold at Walmart, including food items, are sold at around the same price as any other retailer but their 'Great Value' products are cheaper because they don't have the same quality as their name-brand counterparts. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
I'm not trying to say something negative about Walmart, in fact, it's a great place to shop. I just wanted to point out some reasons why they are cheaper than most other retailers.

1- Wal-Mart is NOT a 'grocery store'. Think of it as sort of a department store. Sort of a mini-mall. Princess is an American and oughta know that. She acts like she's never been in one-so that says a lot about her BTW.
2- 2A is taken VERY seriously in the South and West. What you may intend as a joke, locals could take as offensive. In my case, when I was stationed in FL my GF's ex would not leave her alone and tried to break into her apartment, while I was deployed. If she did NOT have a weapon, she could've been raped or killed. So..laugh away.
3- Related to "2" again, it seems Europeans don't get how weapons are sold/bought. You just don't go to the counter and put one in your shopping cart. There are extensive background checks, and for some states, a mandatory 3 day waiting period before you can pick up a handgun.
4- Yes, most Americans would like the Christmas stuff to appear, about late November, either right before or right AFTER Thanksgiving.
Bottom line, please be respectful to OUR culture, as you would wish US to be so to yours. You don't have to AGREE with it, of course.

They change the price to match the store and region. So prices vary from place to place. But using shopping apps you can get really good deals.

And speaking on the walmarts there is a "neighbor hood" wal-mart and a "Super" wal-mart. The diffrence is the neighborhood wal-mart don't sell "electrics" or "cloths".

I live right across the street from a walmart that is big, but if you want to go to a massive walmart super center in Orlando, Florida theirs is massive i swear they should have their own zip code lol!

there is a super walmart in every town in America. and many larger town and cities have multiple ones. I live in Baton Rouge and we have at least 7 of them, just in Baton Rouge, many more in the larger metro area.

Not true, there are NO super Walmarts in my area of Vermont, the closest super Walmart is in Claremont New Hampshire.

If you're going to watch Anime, start with some of the foundational classics that other shows pick up on the mechanics and build on them.
Suggestions include: Full metal alchemist brotherhood, DragonBall z (abridged version as it hits all the points in a much shorter period of time with more humor).

For someone who isn't very familiar with Fullmetal Alchemist should probably start with the original series. The first episode of brotherhood might be kinda confusing for someone not who's never seen either.

It never ceases to amaze me how foreigners think about guns. There are countless inanimate objects that can be dangerous. There is no difference to me between a gun and a hammer. They are tools with purpose. A guy in Wisconsin killed a bunch of people with his car. Are you gonna start being afraid of them too?

      @reindeer7752 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

Most Americans do not own a gun and think the same way as "foreigners". A gun is not a tool. Its a weapon. Its only purpose is to kill. Hammers are tools made for building things. Cars are means of transport.

Some get annoyed with Christmas items coming out in October... not so much in Walmart, but everywhere else because being smaller stores, it displaces the Halloween and Thanksgiving items far too quickly (especially for those of us who have problems with time management and may need something the days before).
