tom... leann rimes still does some smaller venue vocal performances. she is also very active today doing acting for hallmark, etc. i was mostly a rock/roll fan growing up but enjoyed some of the grass roots country that existed in the late 80s. i was blown away by her "blue" performance at 13 yrs old... crazy. haley reinhart also did a superb cover of "blue" during her american idol competition and even included yodeling here: th-cam.com/video/UoA68MXdRgc/w-d-xo.html
