@11:20 I think you were supposed to twirl 3x ("3x" is written in spikes) to land on the 1 veritcal gate. Happy coincidence all the twirls landed you right where you needed though. ;p @15:00 That realization of no checkpoint. I thought of it a moment earlier when you had no mushroom.
I had so much fun watching you play my level.. I have watched a lot of your levels since and have pretty much finished a new one that you'll enjoy a lot more I'm sure. Also fyi, no key, just a tease :)
It was my TMNT level. and you are right.. closer timer and a tougher final jump inside the dam would have made things more authentic overall. But hope you enjoyed it nonetheless.

After watching the tmnt lvl I watched the vid of him playing it a week ago (that I didn't watch before, only saw like 2 vids of that play through of hard games). Was EXACTLY the same like damn
All the TMNT underwater tribute level needed was a tight timer and it'd be perfect and give exactly the annoying shit everyone hated XD The level was difficult but what made it just as difficult is the timer was real tight as well so you didnt get a lot of time to be safe.
I was hoping for TMNT music in the last stage to replace the normal stage music and add some drama, but the stage was awesome regardless. Nice music touch at the end.
Sour Lyme, yes I am aware. To explain it further, 6 courses would be randomly selected from the fan-submitted levels. Ryu would keep track of how many deaths he has through them and if he completes the level with 1-ups.
Lvl 1: Where are the stars come from? Oh wait, that is Carl's meme... Lvl 2: This kind of levels is what makes the Mario grunts incredibly annoying :).
