I liked that first mission because for once loosing soldiers was random, spontaneous and sudden, you weren't focused on getting that one squad up to the shingles you were focused on getting as many as you could up there.
Well it's definitely not underrated in the PC community but I would say overall it is. I think a lot of console people have never even heard of company of heroes

I don't think it need a remaster considering how good it looks to this day in high set. Style wise and color scheme much better than coh2 because the sequel makes my eyes bleed sometimes ngl.

Many died on Omaha, but let us not forget those Canadians who fought with us as well. Along with the other beaches where many still died just to take a beach. Which would be a crucial fight, that ended the second world war. Sword, Utah, Juno, and Gold.
It's a translation error the soldier said actually "Koch doch dein eigenes Fressen" which means " Make your own food" , where "Fressen" is meant in a negative way because it is the word used for animal food.
BlastedStorm I'd actually expect that, there were Japanese soldiers in the European theater, they were carried in from the soviets as prisoners then soldiers for them then were imprisoned by the Germans and then they fought for them

Nice video! You forgot to add in the scene when captain schulze the tiger ace was killed, there was a scene where a private was asking lieutenant conti whether if that was the guy who killed the captain but other than that you covered most of the scenes

I dont know who made the script, music and story of this videogame but its amazingly good....top notch storytelling. This was the thing, the story was told on both ends, from both perspectives. Coh2 was only 1 perspective and badly depicted...coh3 im not sure, havent seen it but its only 1 perspective which lacks contrast and povs. Hence, boring
all the squad leaders, platoon leaders and lieutenant conti and captain mackay should have at least 2 medal of honors since they singlehandedly took st. lo, cherbourg, closed the falaise pocket at chambois, aided in the destruction of a v-2 launch site, cleared omaha beach, kept the red ball express open, killed a tiger ace, and eliminated thousands of german battalions while they were at it
