This song, scores of others like this band, plus everything from Britpop to taijik folk music, Indian classical music. Yes it does to some extend, but perhaps a little bit darker! But I wouldn't consider Lush as a britpop band! It was "Shoegaze", and that was a musical rection to britpop! It belonged to the alternative scene that originated from the 80s! Bands like Cocteau twins and My bloody valentine ! Other bands that followed like, Slowdive and Ride.
