All great info. I am registered to compete in an upcoming TTG event but will be coming from Canada, so my AR platform has a very long 18.5 on barrell (Canadian laws…). Will this be a major hinderance?

If you run a red dot and magnifier, are you allowed to flip up and down the magnifier as you see fit?

Wounded retired marine living in the carolinas. Any tips on a mentor slash coach? I am going to do crossfit again and shooting comes back with reps.
Seems like a 12.5 barrel with an 11.5 handguard would probably do the trick. What’re your thoughts on a red dot with 3x magnifier?
