Graat video Chris, a great way to sign off 2024. By the way viewers.... Those whisky glasses... the pair that you can buy in a wooden box, those wooden boxes will hold 8 watches . I re-lined my box with black felt. I Bought 8 watch pads from Amazon. I then applied 4 coats of varnish to the box. I am impressed with my ingenuity 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I definitely like the automatic one over the prx Especially the bracelet looks a lot more refined and well designed It's beautiful to say the least This definitely deserves a lot more attention now
I saw the Festina brand when visiting spain and i thought to myself, “what a horrible name”. And now I come across this video 😅 glad to know they make good watches. That name is right up there with formex
The thumbnail on this video gave me hope that this wasn’t some exact PRX lookalike. I’ve been trying to get into more artistic dials. Honestly, I don’t need a watch to tell me the time. It’s a piece of jewelry foremost and I’ve come to acknowledge that. I want a nice, creative, and unique dial, even if that dial is a bit of a hinderance at telling exact time.
I bought my PRX PM80 a few months after its release. There were only three colors at the time, and obviously no chrono or digital display model, in the collection. Since then I have had no problems with the movement in particular or with this watch in general. Based on the ETA 2824, the Powermatic 80 offers, as said in the name, 80 hours of power reserve and it runs perfectly, with a few seconds more or less per 24 hours. Which is very good for a very inexpensive watch.
@@chrisenchemin7183 I'm sure there's no original thought behind their comment. They're just repeating something they overheard from a group of daft watch snobs at Windup.
This is very old watch company that produced watches for many many years, It may look very like PRX but both Tissot and Festina had one like this in their catalog years ago. Movado makes very similar one too. Yes, Tissot resurrected it first but Festina looks better in my opinion of course. isn't Aqua Terra and Oyster Perpetual look similar? and add Grand Seiko to it ... but my favorite one will still be Milus Snow Star... Just my opinion of course.
Hi Chris, been watching a lot of you content recently and enjoying your reviews, and your actual watch collection, you must have a very understanding wife👍. But I have a question, does your wife have a sister, looks, size, shape, height, views, job status are NOT important 🤔. Asking for a friend called Mark Jones👍
Its just a copy. A bad copy of the PRX. The prx is the best watch you can buy for under 1k (aud) And all you people that are gonna shit on the movement. Lamborghini and audi share engines too.

Festina is a seriously underrated brand.
Estoy muy contento porque es una marca española, que viva España!!!! 👍

my boderry landmaster arrived today. it's impressive
Better price than I expected, logo is a bit too big
Nice watches. Thanks for bringing us a brand that does not get much love from reviewers. Regards

I would actually want a good new Festina, but Citizen is running circles around anything in this style and price bracket 🏃
Festina is just such an awful name tho
Tbh the name and the logo keep this from being a true winner. Branding is so important.
its like a female uncle fester
Comes from the Latin "Festina lente" which means something akin to 'more haste, less speed' in English.
Can't be any worse than say Welly Merck 😂😂😂😂😂
@@skeelo69 Much better than "Shinola" also. :-)

Better than the PRX for the simple fact it doesn't use a Powermatic 80.

I like your reviews, you provide great info... But, the 35mm looks small on you...
For that price gap, I'd get the quartz or the open heart. The closed-dial mechanical price is steep.

Looks like mall watch to be honest. Some of the Perrelet models are quite different story tough.
The auto looks a bit like an Orient. and the quartz second hand hits all the markers, not like the prx😂
Certina, Festina what’s the difference right?

Uncle Festina
Lovely, Tissot low price PRX is fascinating.
Cool alternative but I still would rather just get the PRX. It looks better IMO. That logo is just pretty bad
That Name placement/font and sapphire text are so unnecessary.
Its just a copy. A bad copy of the PRX.

Tissot PRX or GTFO 👍😁
👍👍👍
"Inspired by illegally flushing paint down the toilet".
In my opinion open heart dials look cheap. Thea remind me on fashion watches with cheap chinese movements
Too many micros
OMG NO! I'm not a huge fan of the PRX but these are just nasty.
Bad name. Prx is better.
It looks like a PRX knockoff😂. They even try to copy the waffle 🧇 dial
