I'm no American. But I damn sure wannabe. I just bought myself a pair of real American boots, can't wait for them to get to Austria. Wait for me, one day I'll be coming to the land of unlimited opportunities! Red, White and Blue 'til the end!
This song actually did some serious work on me and my journey towards sobriety. I use this song for motivation to continue throughout my life on the forward path. The reminder of my passed actions and the feeling of loneliness it brings back is enough to make a man change for anybody. Thanks hardy.
I saw this guy Friday night..opened for J. Aldeen. I never heard of him. I watched him do 3 or 4 songs , including this one...then he does a Puddle of Mud cover. I turned to the dude next to me , about my age (48 but a total stranger and like me not really a hard core country fan) and i said.. I'd have to say this guy is a hard rock artist (which appeals to me) but he realizes there's no real market for that right now.... So he puts country lyrics to his music. County SELLS.. I also couldn't help but think he could quite possibly be Kid Rock's cousin. He was entertaining for sure...
Hardy coming through with that real indie country sound, that’s the best sounding country right now. Koe wetzel, Tyler Childers, Kolby Cooper, and HARDY! This is what should be on the radio, guys like this!!!!!! And that riff is HARDDDDDDD
You can really tell on this one HARDY’s metal influence. The way the drums roll and the guitars at 1:40. Bringing something truly original to country with a bit of heat!
So glad someone else noticed the metal influence in this. That part you referenced was almost like a mini metalcore breakdown. I can't think of too many times I've heard double bass drum kicks in country.
Hardy continuing to show how his song writing is just on another planet compared to these other country artists. The double bass breakdown at 1:40 hits so fucking hard in this. Never heard anything like that in a country song.
Its a simple song on guitar actually. Its drop D tuning, trust me, its really easy. Except for the bridge 1-3 fingers and open strings, Some picking and strumming, the bridge is tricky but simple when you get the hang of it, it sounds more complicated than it is, but definitely a great song. Hardy is a great song writer.
Charleston WV, Jason Aldean concert Thursday brought me here! Can't wait to see your journey, you gave more of a show than him. Thank you! Gained some new subscribers!
Got to see Hardy live a few months ago. Love the story he told before performing this. Dude puts on one hell of a show! I went to the show to watch and support a local artist who opened for him, it was the first time I even heard of Hardy, wasn't sure I'd even like him. I hada blast! Instantly became a Hardy fan and can't wait to catch another show!
I love double bassdrums fer no reason...you dont see that to often in country....with a basically breakdown...ima metal kid and i almos started moshin to this song....yea let that sink in¡¡¡¡¡¡
He uses soo much metal shit in his music. The guitars in 4x4, he went to Jared, this, and hell Turn you down is a borderline speed metal track that has Zakk Wylde playing guitar. Cool to see a metal influence in someone who comes by it honestly like this.
Worked security for Hardy at Jason Aldean's show @ Sacramento & Shoreline this last weekend, didn't know a thing about him before but I left that show a new & true fan. Thank you for putting on an amazing performance dude.
I LOVE YOU HARDY! You are amazing!!! I love your love songs and features! Your'e my favorite everyday music and my favorite thing about today's country music!

This guy is a writing machine! And this song has such an edge to it. Love it!
You can really tell on this one HARDY’s metal influence. The way the drums roll and the guitars at 1:40. Bringing something truly original to country with a bit of heat!

Fr man that double bass adds so much for being something so little.
110% as a metal and country fan that's a breakdown if i ever did hear one
so many genres are fusing together now more than ever and its freaking amazing
Y’all need to listen to Koe Wetzel if u think this is good
I feel that 😂🎉
Hardy continuing to show how his song writing is just on another planet compared to these other country artists. The double bass breakdown at 1:40 hits so fucking hard in this. Never heard anything like that in a country song.
Dude I was fucking jamming when that part hit hell yes I need more of this for sure
First time hearing this I was like what the hell. Double bass in a country song.
Hardys band is awfully good.
Let’s take a moment to respect how good his guitarists and drummer is🤩
Yee! Yee!
I came here for just this reason.
Im a metal guitarist, there's absolutely no way he isn't too

Charleston WV, Jason Aldean concert Thursday brought me here! Can't wait to see your journey, you gave more of a show than him. Thank you! Gained some new subscribers!
