Nothing wrong with that. I know the i4's and i5's are really good masks, but also kinda pricey. Usually with full paintball mask you can't get a good check weld to sight down your optics, which is usually pretty important at the greater distances in outdoor play. Have heard Dye's are better than most in that respect, but I've not used one personally.
I just tried these goggles on, and they are VERY uncomfortable. The goggles are way too curved, so when you put it on, there is extra pressure on your head and gaps between head and goggles. I might just take out the fan and put it in a quality pair of goggles. :(
Yep. They are made for smaller faces. Fit my son perfect, but I had the same experience on my bid noggin. However, they are a little bit malleable and stretched the curve out a bit, making them comfortable.

BUT, I don't trust these goggles in a worst case scenario BB hit, i.e. accidental sniper to the face from close range. @@DjDayOne Yep, I removed the fan and battery pack last week and put them into proper saftey goggles. My club requires the eye-wear to meet proper saftey standards, which all clubs should.

I think I'll try these out. My biggest problem has been finding goggles that simply allow me to wear my glasses. I was even thinking about gatorz eyewear. They are ballistic glasses, but for prescription they're 400 bucks. I'll drop 30 first to see if these work
I just bought me one and I'm hoping they work with me glasses because I can never find anything that can work with them. I did buy the guard dog goggles and they are alright but my glasses fog so badly that I spend more time worrying about my glasses than the game.
They are a little to small for my Harley Davidson glasses I might nod the goggles or bend them to get my glasses in there and deal with them being tight.
These or something like this can be found on Amazon, problem I keep running into is they are marketed to be anzi 87.1 safety rated but when I get them out of the box they have zero markings or safety marking on the google or in the packaging. Are these the same? No indication they are safety rated?
Imperceptible. I can't film gameplay with them because the camera mic actually pics up the vibration noise conducting through the mount, but as far as just playing with them, you cannot hear it.
Eyewear prescription glasses and I remember when I played paintball my mask would be fine but my glasses would always fog up I'm trying to find a solution to this problem
They are not the same as the SI Ballistic goggles. I looked those up and the fan placement and motor are slightly different. BUT, yes, they are FMA branded goggles. A quick google search seems to indicate they are "FMA Lpg01bk12-2r Regulator" goggles. They definitely come in an FMA case which can be seen at 02:16. Not sure why it's not mentioned anywhere in the Amazon listing.
Had these goggles. Problem was, it's not bb proof. Shot them for a test and the glass shattered. So i bought a different goggle. And put the fan on that one, with a little bit of cutting and glue. And now I've save non fogging gloggles
I had the ESS turbo fans and they did not work in humid environments indoor..so these wont work! Just glasses with some antifog or rub some soap on lens
For gameplay the noise is imperceptible. It won't bother you at all. However, if you record gameplay with a camera on your forehead, it will pick up a dim hum of the fan on the recording.
Thank you for this recommendation. I’ve been running into fogging issues since i got back into airsoft and im glad you also mentioned your son wearing prescription lenses cus i do too. Great video man, can’t thank you anymore 👍🏽
hey Salty, just saw this...thanks. I have Mframes with help kit that I use with Ex fog, however, with Mframes they only work with ex fog 1 way, you have to bring the hoses in from the top which can be a bit problematic because you have to fiddle with them to get them just right and they often come out. i dont know if these will work for me due to me playing the sniper role I have problems with getting cheek welds on my guns using goggles. But I'll give em a try!!
I have these exact ones. I still fog except for a little circle on the middle of the goggles right below the fan...which is useless. Just ordered me an ExFog because I'm tired of it.
I too have the same problem as your sun. Bought great goggles but the insert steamed up. Expensive mistake. I will look at buying these goggles you mention. Great review on such an important, little talked about topic. Can you please give your thoughts on the dye i4 mask? Apparently you can wear prescription glasses under these and they don't fog, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with their glasses fogging under the mask. These masks are expensive for what they are so I want to be confident they will work before buying. Thanks Salty, you have got yourself a sub right here. Keep up the good work .
Hey, Craig. Thanks for the comps. 🙏 On the Dye mask, I too have heard that are really good and you can wear glasses in them, but have not used them personally. I have also heard that they are flexible enough that you aren't losing the ability to look down the site with a good cheek weld on the butt stock because of the full head helm. No downside, apparently. I've considered getting one myself. Check on OfferUp and HopUp apps. I have seen MANY for sale there on the cheap, like $40. Sometimes even brand new.
I would highly recommend you just pick up an Exfog. $80 is a worthwhile investment into the most vital piece of your kit. There are also hella resources into how to mount it on nearly any platform whether it be hat, boonie, or helmet AND Exfog's customer service is phenomenal so if you have any issues, they'll be sure to take care of it!
The curvature of the lens is sharp and if you are a very big person they are tight, but for average to small size people should be fine, and yes they do go over glasses.
Everyone talking about goggles cracking, it sadly seems they've got inconsistency in manufacturing. I'm seeing a lot of people say that their goggles are cracking on 300-400 FPS guns with .20 BBs, but at the same time if you look at their reviews, someone fired .32 gram BBs at ~400, which would be easy to discredit if it weren't for the fact they have it on video.
Bought a pair. 350fps on 0.2g. First shot cracked the lense, second shot split it open, third shot smashed it to pieces. Threw them in the bin and bought Revision Desert Locusts with a fan instead. Do not cheap out on eye pro guys... Repeated the test on both lenses.
Do you know what the battery life is? Awesome video Dude!! Definitely something I need as I'm also a glasses wearer. And they do fog up even tough my goggles or mask wouldn't fog up.
They work decent, but if the fan gets shot it destroys the guard and stops the fan from working. Not worth it IMHO I ran them for 2 games before they got destroyed

I bought the FMA model on taiwangun for only 20€...never worked properly, the fan turn just a few seconds then it stops...I think it's a really cheap construction. The solution...stop spending money in bad solutions (20€+30€+......=200€ for nothing great) and invest in the ess turbofan, it's around 200€ but man, it is the only good product to go on!
I always tell people you have to read through the desc, answered questions, and reviews, and decide if you think it's safe for yourself. Many answered questions say yes, others say no, while similarly many reviews say things like... fired 550 fps sniper point blank 20x and held up perfect, while others argue not.

DO NOT BUT THESE THEY ARE NOT SAFE! I decided to give these goggles a try and I''m glad I shoot my eye pro before I go to use it. I shot these goggles with a .25g BB at approximate 350 FPS, the lenses dented and began to crack. Straight into the trash, my eyes are worth more than $30.
(Update after purchase) Sadly these did not fit my face. I have a fairly average size head and these seem more for children. Also had my wife try them and she also said they are too narrow and does not fully seal near the nose or upper inner cheek. Do not recommend.

as someone who wears glasses, see if you can get yourself contact lenses, they work like a dream, if you're willing to spend some extra money for them
just got my pair with the fan today cant wait to try them
I just bought me one and I'm hoping they work with me glasses because I can never find anything that can work with them. I did buy the guard dog goggles and they are alright but my glasses fog so badly that I spend more time worrying about my glasses than the game.
They are a little to small for my Harley Davidson glasses I might nod the goggles or bend them to get my glasses in there and deal with them being tight.
Got them working. I had to mod mine but they are the best goggles I ever used.
This was super helpful. Just buying gear for my boys.
These or something like this can be found on Amazon, problem I keep running into is they are marketed to be anzi 87.1 safety rated but when I get them out of the box they have zero markings or safety marking on the google or in the packaging. Are these the same? No indication they are safety rated?
Hoping these fix my issues! My eye wear constantly fogs and so far my eye doctor cant get my contact prescription correct.
What the anti fog goggles with the built-in fans how loud are the fans?
Imperceptible. I can't film gameplay with them because the camera mic actually pics up the vibration noise conducting through the mount, but as far as just playing with them, you cannot hear it.
Eyewear prescription glasses and I remember when I played paintball my mask would be fine but my glasses would always fog up I'm trying to find a solution to this problem
Thanks! Just bought them. I've been having problem with both, my eye glasses and airsoft googles fogging up.
Are the H World Shopping Regulator Goggle the fame thing as the FMA SI Ballistic goggles? Thanks!
SaltyOldGamer OK thanks a lot
How about the proction with this one?
Thanks for the info! Is it better working the a dye i4 of i5 masks? Do you know? I really hate the fogg😅🤣🤣
Hey how do you change these goggle lenses
Had these goggles. Problem was, it's not bb proof. Shot them for a test and the glass shattered. So i bought a different goggle. And put the fan on that one, with a little bit of cutting and glue. And now I've save non fogging gloggles
The description and questions on Amazon leave the ANSI rating completely vague. I wouldn't use these without verification of its ANSI rating.
It's made in China. There is no ansi rating. Caveat emptor
Is the fan in the goggles loud?
After 1 game my pyremex x force goggles shattered in 5 places and constantly fogged up
Do they fit glasses
now that Im thinking about it, this is what I need for a motorcycle helmet. Remove the lens and wear this goggles for the fogging problem. :D
I hate the X800
It broke on my
It broke in half
Do this go good with the one tigres foldable face mask?
yes
Thx
I had the ESS turbo fans and they did not work in humid environments indoor..so these wont work! Just glasses with some antifog or rub some soap on lens
Black Emerald Group lol that won’t stop fogging at all...
Excellent, just ordered a pair. £31 in the UK. My glasses fog badly. Thanks.
would Bolle x800 be good? they are very expensive but(70€)... ill buy them if they dont fog a lot
does the noise of the fans bother you? how loud are they?
For gameplay the noise is imperceptible. It won't bother you at all. However, if you record gameplay with a camera on your forehead, it will pick up a dim hum of the fan on the recording.
Does it still function decently with a helmet?
Thank you for this recommendation. I’ve been running into fogging issues since i got back into airsoft and im glad you also mentioned your son wearing prescription lenses cus i do too. Great video man, can’t thank you anymore 👍🏽
How tf do you change the lenses
hey Salty, just saw this...thanks.
Would the H world shopping goggles fit with a mesh mask well?
Yes. That is how we use it.
I have those glasses with fan, shit is NOT WORKING, still fogging like crazy. Fake advertisement.
Looked through your Vids and did not find it. How about an Armory Review of all the stuff you used?
Thanks for the suggestion. Our armory is relatively small at the moment, but growing. 😊
Hi, I wear glasses and I like goggles, but would these goggle fit me?
The curvature of the lens is sharp and if you are a very big person they are tight, but for average to small size people should be fine, and yes they do go over glasses.
Everyone talking about goggles cracking, it sadly seems they've got inconsistency in manufacturing. I'm seeing a lot of people say that their goggles are cracking on 300-400 FPS guns with .20 BBs, but at the same time if you look at their reviews, someone fired .32 gram BBs at ~400, which would be easy to discredit if it weren't for the fact they have it on video.
ESS crossbow's are great for anti fog.
Where did you find those with a fan?
Do you know what the battery life is?
Awesome video Dude!!
Definitely something I need as I'm also a glasses wearer. And they do fog up even tough my goggles or mask wouldn't fog up.
Batteries easily last through a full day gameplay, usually several.
@@SaltyOldGamer Thank you for the reply. Definitely goin to grab me one of those!!
They work decent, but if the fan gets shot it destroys the guard and stops the fan from working. Not worth it IMHO I ran them for 2 games before they got destroyed
A bit late to the game, but are these Ansi 87.1 rated?
No rating due to made in China... I always tell people to read the reviews and make your own decision based on comfort level. There are commenters on az saying it's anzi level rated, and others saying they tested it against high fps sniper shots. And there's the opposite. Ours we've been using for a good long while and it's stood up. But, again, you have to be comfortable with what you're buying and use your own discretion. 👍
How do you wear them with a helmet?
Strap will go right over a tac helm. Check the turbofan image here as example. www.airsoftinsider.com/ess-profile-turbofan-goggle/
Thank you.
Are this loud?
Dude thank you! I just bought the tan versions. I'm excited to try these out. Much love brother keep up the good content.
Hey man. Did these end up working pretty well for you??
Mesh?
Another great review. I’m always looking for a cheap solution as long as it works!
Thank you for this video I was just looking at these before watching this video now I’m sold
Are these safe?
I always tell people you have to read through the desc, answered questions, and reviews, and decide if you think it's safe for yourself. Many answered questions say yes, others say no, while similarly many reviews say things like... fired 550 fps sniper point blank 20x and held up perfect, while others argue not.
@@SaltyOldGamer Thats true, but not rated is quite risky. Ive used non rated goggles before after testing them myself. i wondered what your vision on it is
Anyone guy the fan goggles that know how to swap the lenses? I bought them mostly because of this video but it came with no directions and I’d like to use the clear lense instead of the tinted
See I wanted to participate in milsims, but being a glasses wearer as well means fog, So I bought a full face mesh mask to just deal with my problems, I spent 40 dollars on that. God I wish I had seen this video before I made that purchase. Ill definitely be picking these up though, Good upload.
Thats why you need contacts when playing sports.
This googles are sold under diferents brands. They work againts fog. I see only 2 Cons. Somebody in amazon review get hurt his eye beacsue of plastic mesh around the frame, but they are copy of Smiths googles so, design couldn't be bad.
Second Con is, that they dont have certification, but i tested my googles with 3 shoots from 5cm from 450 fps airsoft gun, result : no crack, no scratch
... can i use this in a chem lab
I really couldn't even pretend to know the answer to that, my guy. 🤔 Sorry, man. Read through the sale page description closely, maybe, to determine.
Comments on UK Amazon site say these don't conform to safety standards and are dangerous. Others say they are fine. Who is right??
Can you snipe with this goggle?
Yes
Mine didn't work at all
I have the same goggles except I have the tan version(for my loadout) and they are awesome. The only think I wish I could change is the black head band that even comes on the tan version
im the same bro i get so hot i fog up in first 5 mins off gameplay
I would suggest using Revision Desert Locust goggles.
Bro anti fog wipes are a thing
Thanks for the info here, very helpful.
Shoot the glass with a gun though. These aren't rated for impact required for Airsoft.
I’m going to order a pair of these goggles I had the same problem your son has I get the goggles to be fine and my glasses fog up or the other way around
