Great Blog and channel Nick. Re pilling I use the razor blade method where I insert it in my Kamisori type straight razor. Works like a charm with great control.

Thank you for the feedback! Sounds safer using the razor handle!

This was helpful, thanks. I'd rather save and buy one or two quality knitwear pieces than ten or twenty pieces that won't last. It's great to remove pilling safely

Maybe check out the 'Tescom KD778-H' for a Japanese version. Or the French 'Tefal JB7002'.

Thank you for reviewing the available tools, exactly what I was looking for! Would you recommend any one of these options for pilling on tweed garments (sports jackets / coats)? Ps: efficient and articulate video, just subscribed to the channel :)

For tweed I'd go for one of the electric ones if there is a fair amount, but if it's just a little bit here and there, a little careful razor work will do the trick.

I bought an expensive coat some months ago made of 100% virgin wool and it is pilling up every 5 seconds. I don't know if that's to do with the quality of the product (in which case I've been scammed) or if its due to my pilling removing method. I use a wool comb.

I prefer a cutter, to my mind it pulls less on the fibres.
