Happy 63rd Independence Day Ghana. Ghana has come a long way from its difficult days under military regimes when I was a foreign student in the 70s.
Your current leader, Nana Akufo-Addo, may not be perfect, but he has restored Ghana’s pride, dignity, and respect around the world. This military parade and the recent hosting of “The Year of Return”, simultaneously with Afro-Nation and Afro-Chella exemplify that.
It takes a visionary and a politically astute leader to resurrect a country economically and restore its international image. Ghana with all its valuable natural resources and educated human power has the potential to be one of Africa’s economic power house.
Many thanks to all my old Ghanaian professors, despite the economic hardships during the 70s, they did not relent, they did not waver in doing their jobs so professionally with patience and dedication.
Happy 63rd Independence Day Ghana. yes indeed, Ghana is a great nation, a shinning example to the rest of Africa, that with good leadership, the Continent of Africa is a great place to live.
Thank you my Ghanaian brothers and sisters for welcoming your Black Brothers & Sisters from the diaspora home. Keep up the good work!
