I've been producing music for 2 decades. I had Electribe 2 for a while, and found it very hard to use and sold it. I much prefer DAWs and hardware keyboards synths/sequencers. This composition is a MASTERPIECE. What a journey! Respect.
When I was 20, I sold my Corgi mx1. Stupidest fucking decision I've ever made. I didn't know what I was doing, I had no idea what the fuck oscillators were, fresh out of FL Studio. SMH. Now I have like nine synthesizers and I only use Hardware. 2 korg Emx-1!! Is completely unnecessary but...full send!
I listen to everything you upload several times. I'm not sure why, but there is something that's really moving me with the stuff you make. I have been deeply moved by your music through the years. Undoubtedly the filthiest beats ever heard by these ears. At one point I imagined I had been thrown into a dumpster, surrounded by speakers and tough guys with baseball bats, all in tune like one of those bucket drummers, and loving every minute of it. Bravo, sir. Old school filthy beats!

The electribe is powerful, a very hearty synthesizer and live jam machine, so much more than the sequencing and fx beast it always is. Cornerstone of my gear with a td3 and presently a borrowed matrix brute.

The sample version is the one I've got. Its perfect as a brain for sequencing stuff. It's an underrated bit of kit.. This is a great video. (& Great music.) Dogs are god. Backwards and forwards.

Electribe, Red Bull Go Pro first person view, quite a perf, though a bit rough on the eyes 😂. . Love the jam session, that's some gorgeous infrabass there!!! In the process of learning the electribe, listening to your track gives me courage to dig deeper in its ways... And to create tracks outside!

Amazing - creative - very listenable. Can't comprehend how you did all this using an electribe with stock sounds/pcm's. Your unit never seems to cut out even though you must be pushing the internal dsp. Mine cuts out frequently. This will no doubt inspire me to take a new approach with my time using the electribe. Nice use of programming and arrangements of patterns to make these bad boy tracks. I’ve done 2 hard techno sets in Bristol on this thing so far but looking forward to my next ones. If hard tech was made by your self I’m sure you’d throttle me hands down lol. Considering you hardware programmed this thing for korg corporation you’ll know every ins and outs of this thing. I was thinking about creating an .ALL file for my Electribe 2 (not sampler) with all Patterns set to INIT, as a starting point to more song oriented projects. I don't own the Electribe 2 myself, but can you do it by assigning the instruments you want to be affected to master effects and then record the XY-pad motion?
Synth version, but seeing what he knows and can do he's probably done the hack to enable sampling. Look for it ;) that way you keep all the filters and capabilities of the synth.
Rite on good work. I have the same one with preset tracks built in, but I only make my own ! Using elektron to eurorack, behringer, Dave smiths , op 1, op z etc my list goes on. So trust I wasn’t confused thinking your set up was a “ DJ” thingy haha. Stay up dude keep the creations coming
Technical Itch (if you know the duo) 25 years after... you remixing? With superb presets. Thanks to Korg! I personally prefer their 1st gen of esx samplers.

I was jamming it in my car tonight and the Production was excellent. I’m assuming this was entirely Mixed, in the box alone? And then Mastered on a PC? If so, wow... I have a ton of respect for anyone who can Mix inside a single piece of kit, and make it sound like it was Mixed on a proper board or in a DAW. The Sub was huge and full of lovely body. All the Percussion is cutting through beautifully. Overall, the work is spot on and phenomenal.
Yeh straight out the back of the electribe into android recforge then limited in post . The version on spotify has a bit more mastering on it than this one... there's a few areas where I clip the input a bit on this
Very impressive work indeed. Regardless, it would’ve still been excellent, but the fact that it was mixed in the box is icing on the cake. It definitely captures the essence of the kit when used in this fashion and brings a level of authenticity that imparts a warmness to the Mix. I missed where it “clips”, and I’m usually pretty good at trainspotting hiccups like that. I haven’t listened to the entire piece with a fine tooth comb, but if I come across them in the future, I might pick up on them. :D All in all, bravo.

I use every available slot. I don't chain anything just manual switching so I get to flick between loops to make things last longer

No, it is the stock Electribe 2. The sampler is red. These are the newest ones. Korg did away with the grey and black colors of the first run.
I dont understand that yet, when i playback at 60 Bpm is it like 24 bit 24000 samples ?
No all the samples are at the same rate regardless of bpm. They change rate by pitch. Pitch down by 1 octave = 24khz Pitch up 1 octave = 96khz

Everything built from scratch. Impossible to do it any other way than writing from scratch. It's not a DJ thing.
