Which I'm glad they didn't use because it's a reboot, so you need to make the suit as different as possible. Also many of them don't even look like costume, they look more like a alien creature.
Yeah, I remember thinking the movie was going to be Spider-Man 4 going in. I only realized it wasn’t when I saw the spider bite scene. Making his suit look like Tobey’s probably would have made it even more confusing for kid me.
9:31 I like this design, I also remember about a time that they were going to use a villain I never knew of called Proto-Goblin and I like this movie more than the second one because it was different.
I actually really love the TASM1 suit. It's unique and original while still keeping the essence of the classic design, and I think it 100% nailed its design goals. It fits the tone and the aesthetic of the film perfectly. Had the TASM series continued down the grittier, grounded path, I would have loved to see that suit get upgraded even more, perhaps with the same material warping the TASM2 suit had that made it look so real.
I honestly prefer the suit in TASM1 rather than TASM2 since the 1st suit is more original and unique while the 2nd suit looks too close to the classic look that wasn't bad by any means but it was just overly used for me. I don't mind it nowadays luckily but even still
Yeah, it’s always great to stay faithful to a characters traditional look but it’s also nice to take some creative liberties. If comic artist are allowed to play around with a design then film makers should get that freedom as well.
I actually want the big eyes from the TASM2 suit to be part of the TASM1 suit for some reason even though I like the TASM1 suit, which is the only thing I’d modify to the suit.

andrew garfield's spider-man is the worst take. He literally let's people die. Idc if he "quips more than tobey," I would rather have a Spider-Man that sticks to his morals than a shitty one.
I grew up watching both Tobey and Andrews Spider-Man movies when I was a kid, but TASM was my first Spider-Man film I saw in theaters. I think I was about 7 or 8 but I instantly fell in love with . I still remember drawing tons and tons of drawings of Spider-Man fighting the Lizard. Watching videos like these brings me back so many memories to that time back in 2012 when this movie came out. Andrew Garfield’s Spider-man will always hold a special place to me. Seeing him actually appear in No Way Home, I freaked out in theaters, like 7 year old me came out. Awesome video.

I think it would of been better incorporating Peter in classes at school such as robotics or av club since Peter Parker is a science geek but also him making his first suit by sneaking into the school one night stealing theatre clothes and making his first suit.
I really wish they stuck with the design of the test suit (with the blue lenses), it just look a bit cleaner than what we got. The textures are flatter, the blue lenses look nicer than the yellow ones, the red section at the waist doesn’t resemble an arrow pointing to the crotch. I do still like the TASM 1 suit design, but the minor issues I have with it are solved in the test suit. Something else that I really like about the suit is that it actually looks like it functions the way the suit should work, especially when looking at the gloves. If you take a close look, they actually look like they separate from the rest of the suit (there’s a small seam and change in texture for the blue sections. Then compare that to all the other suits and how the gloves are obviously not able to detach, yet they’re somehow able to with movie magic
Rami's Spider-man almost had web shooters. In fact you can see them in a old trailer in the scene where Peter webs his room but you have to pause the scene right.
Hey Warp You should do a video that does a deep dive into the alternate version of the amazing Spider-Man, the one that Marc Webb created from his vision but was later altered by Sony, thus showing how much the film and its characters changed throughout the course of its production
since they were going for a more grounded version of spider-man, i feel like going with such a sci-fi looking character like the lizard was an odd choice. like why not using of any of the more humanoid villains?
Thank you for making this video I love how you edit your videos also the thumbnails of your videos are so cool and beautiful but also scary and intriguing I love them alot
I honestly would like to see ASM2 concept art, because they completely changed everything from the first movie. I liked the first one's style much better. It actually looks realistic and modern, not just a cheap and poor copy of Raimi's version.
Idk why but Ive always have liked when Spider-Man has had a belt underneath the suit to hold additional web cartridges I think it would’ve worked really well for this Spider-Man and I think they would’ve had to have removed it late into production mainly because in the tie in game for the first TASM movie Spider-Mans suit has the belt with small devices on his sides that allow him to reload his web shooters even though it had no effect on the gameplay if I remember correctly and there’s also an unlock able suit specifically without the belt I wonder what caused them to remove it 🤔
i think the chasing lizard through the streets sequence should have made it in the final film, its so cool and unique, i think it should have also taken place after the school battle so that instead of the police chasing spiderman and lizard separately they instead chase both of them in the same place and then all of that leads them to the oscorp tower for the final battle, i also really liked the vfx in the final film and think that the scene would have looked really good with them, idk just my thoughts
They should have made the Lizard look animalistic in my opinion. it would make the lizard liquid appear like a drug that turns Connors into something very powerful and dangerous. And of course: the animalistic lizard look is just amazing and terrifying.

I would've loved to have seen the bus scene in the movie. All action scenes in the movie feel so empty, there's no one for Spidey to worry about or save from Lizard. They were also too fast, right before they were about to get good, they would just end. Imagine, an entire sequence of Spidey and Lizard fighting on and then inside the bus. That would've been close to the Spidey vs Ock train scene from Spider-Man 2. If it were on me, I'd use that instead of the boring bridge scene they used. To have that rescue moment that makes Peter see the better hero in himself, just have him save that same boy from drowning in the bus. That would be way more thrilling because he can't hold an entire bus and he can't just web the kid, so the challenge would give him an edge.
