These are absolutly not the best tactical light. I have used one got the past two years everyday. the tail switch will gunk up with sand, mud and dust completely seizing it up with no way to full disassemble it for cleaning. I've had plenty of issues with charging due to faulty batteries and shitty tail switch. And The plastic lens will dirty and scuff very easily due to it being plastic

I like the warriar mini 2 because the lumens is lower for each setting, giving you more hours of battery in a smaller package.

Just reconnected to the flashlight world and wow so much change! These are far from your "father's flashlight" with one intensity, finicky batteries that ended up leaking and ruining the flashlight; weak lamps - even kryptons by comparison, that had to be changed once in a while. This model looks great and works great, just got mine.

I really liked Warrior 3,until it melted a hole in my vest. Now that it has a proximity sensor, I'm going to see if I like it as much as the Warrior mini 2. I too carry 2 flashlights: Baton 3 and Warrior mini 2.

This is a classic "Olight Clown" who gets freebies if he keeps up the positive reviews & increases Olight sales. These people make it seem like proximity sensor is futile. It's really not. And it's actually very annoying.

@@chrisunruh6485 Fenix!!!! Fenix!!! Listen to me. PD36R. Long runtime on turbo and USB-C rechargeable! Overall best light I have ever owned. Love the versatility and build quality of Fenix. I've owned them for years and have bought 7 or 8 more of them since last summer from the same store, of which has nearly stopped carrying Olight because they have so many returns they suggested I don't risk it. I visit the store every year and will even tell you where it is and what it is called. Smoky Mountain Knife Works in TN. Fenix. Fenix. Fenix.
Oh, I forgot one thing. I was in there just yesterday 6/28 and they had 2 lights and no other displays in the Olight case. Fenix had plenty to choose from and they'll tell you that Fenix sells the most and returns the least.

C'mon! What type of battery does the 3S accept? 2300 lumens is a lot but having to change battery size can be a game changer for those who already have plenty of 16150 batteries.

I like the Warrior X3 due to the Warrior ring. Because if you shine it in someone's eyes you better be ready for a fight, putting 2500 lumens in someone's face is no joke.
Around 1k is good enough to work but not cause permanent damage or an immediate fight.

Stumbled on your site I'm glad to find someone else who thinks this is the best light made. I've had mine for about a year and walk my dog in the dark first thing in the morning. I live out in the country and I'm more amazed with this light now than went I bought it. You can scroll through the brightness levels on the fly and If you need a blinding light hit the turbo. The video does not due this justice it is insanely bright. Magnetic base, moonlight setting, multiple brightness setting it checks every box. If I could only have one flashlight this is it and there is not a close second. If you are in the market for a flashlight don't even think about anything else just pull the trigger and get it, you won't be disappointed.

  • @ynotjf

The Olight Warrior 3S is kind of a bad joke, turbo only last 2.5 minutes? Yes, the 2300 turbo only last 2.5 minutes on a fully charged battery, if you need turbo a second time you’ll get 1 minute of runtime. No third time until you recharge and top-off the battery. After 2.5 minutes turbo steps down to a 800lm high mode for additional 166 minutes but.. 800lm high has a greenish tint that really unpleasant! I’ve got a 10 year old Eagtac D25LC2 that runs at 1374 lumens for 1.5hrs that’s smaller and outperforms the Warrior 3S..

I used to do it and had a pretty good rig. The minelab equinox 600. Probably the best find I came across on a walking trail was a .22 cal slug. I could not believe it was that sensitive to sniff out a copper slug like that.
However. If you don’t live near any historical sites, or virgin grounds (have never been dug)… your best luck would be at busy beach wear people are losing jewelry and all manner of items all the time.
Part of the reason it happens is that the ligaments/ extremities of the human body shrink (rings off fingers especially) and therefore fall into the ocean.
But good luck and happy hunting if you do get into metal detecting.

If the Warrior 3S is anything like that… that alone would be worth it to buy because of the long runtime 💯👌🏼

Ok so way to big to be a EDC, plus what's up with that crappy two way pocket clip where half the flashlight sticks out of the pocket.
Also for me at least batteries are a big part of a flashlight. I didn't hear you mention them. I'm sure that there probably proprietary 21700 and standard 21700 won't work, because Olight has become greedy.

I just ordered one of these at 40% off on their store page. They're celebrating an anniversary or something (any excuse to have a sale is fine by me). I would love to see more of those that carry firearms also EDC a light. On a side note, I've been carrying the very slim and powerful Fenix pd32v2 for over a year now and that thing has a very tight hot spot... it's actually a bit too tight for many uses, however, it's excellent for blinding an attacker or packing some serious throw. The thing is the most fun light I own for it's thin 18650 form factor and its lazer like capabilities. It's around 40,000 candela at 1,200 lumens(although you'd think it's higher) on turbo and very lightweight. I'm excited to see if the warrior 3s replaces it in my pocket daily, as it's notably larger.

If u prefer olight that's cool but it's not the best, the NITECORE MH12SE uses more batteries, has more distance and candela, and longer runtime, duel switches and only 5 inches long, and it uses the same type c charger my phone and everything else uses, don't have to carry a separate charger just for your flashlight, it also uses cr/rcr 123 batteries in a pinch, also has plastic tactical quick draw holster, and optional pressure switch for gun mounting

That's a nice light if you don't mind the charging port and odd texture, however, Nitecore doesn't stand by their warranties and products. There's quite a lot of history with them displaying poor business practices if you care to look into it before making a choice. All that said, I love the throw/ hot spot and spill mixture on the NITECORE MH12SE, so I can see why you would like it for it's compact nature. I personally really dislike having a sensor (point of failure) in a flashlight.
My first Olight was the baton 3 pro. Two months after purchase it failed due to that sensor. It caused it to auto dim it in every setting regardless of what I did.
I just recently ordered the warrior 3s ONLY BECAUSE YOU CAN DISABLE THE SENSOR if it fails.
Adding points of failure to a edc tool is just not logical to me personally. And the fact you can disable the sensor on this W3S is the only reason I’m giving Olight a second chance. Would prefer them just put a tough enough lense on it so it wouldn’t melt. Cause we all know that’s the real reason the sensor is there

Can you indeed turn off the sensor??? Olight email says you can't. If you can please please please let me know. It's only thing keeping me from buying it. Thanks a ton

@@nickpetersen6406 I don’t think you can on this specific unit unless you took it apart and removed it or cut the wires to it possibly? Idk.
I have sense swapped to the baton 3 1200lumens and a baton 3 pro max 2500 lumens because the 3 dosnt have the sensor and the 3 pro max you can turn it off.
Really hate the sensor a lot personally

That's unfortunate... I got the baton 3 pro yesterday, I need a tail switch for my application thought I would try the botton 3 pro. It's OK but not for the price. Thanks for the reply. Truly means alot and saved me a massive waste of time.

Hi I'm really considering this light. But I was wondering about the 2.5 minute runtime on turbo... is that 2.5 min a step down and you can use the turbo again eventually after cooling? Or once used on turbo for 2.5 min the turbo is completely useless?

    • @ludoA.K.A
      @ludoA.K.A 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Turbo mode will still be available provided the battery is over 75% charged. Below this value, the voltage will be too "low" and the Turbo disappears.
An excellent flashlight provided you recharge it with each use, in fact. The Warrior 3 has the same UI too.

Would be nice if olight would consider C.R.I. Color rendering index... after all the quality of the light should represent the quality of the flashlight.. this brand has excellent builds with pathetic cri.
Their is more to light than cool white vs. Neutral white...
The light reflected back to the eyes SHOULD be accurate for plus $100.oo pocket lights.

They're still value based compared to MANY other brands. Demanding minutia for the same price point is probably futile. I've been running Olights on several of my weapons for years and they've been money
