Jery has a big influence in my life, not just chess.. I started watching your content since 2018, despite English not being my tongue language, but I still have the same passion to watch more.. take care of yourself my friend. Love you from Jordan ❤🇯🇴
Same here. I started watching him since 2012 when I came to the US. English is not my first tongue, but listening to Jerry helped me a lot with my pronunciation. Thanks Jerry!
@chessnetwork after been a long time watcher since AnthonCube time. I can assure you as a viewer, there are no videos of a loss of Judit Polgar. Unless it has been privatised. Polgar knows no defeat, until now. :p
Hey brother you saved my life unadvertedly. I've been a big fan since you played on ChessCube many years ago and I had hemorrhagic dengue and I was all alone. I was about to die but I truly believe watching you do the "kitchen sink variation" made me laugh so much over the weeks I recovered. You don't know how much good youve done. Now I live in the USA served honorably in the military and am a firefighter paramedic. You influence so much
Wow! Thank you for sharing part of your story. Happy to know I’ve helped outside of chess, and that you’re doing well/helping many others now. The Butterfly Effect! Reading your message reminded me of the tribute ABC News did on the recent passing of Bob Newhart. His closing words speak volumes. ❤️ th-cam.com/video/xN3kiOL795I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NFCiogsX4vz3_b2w
It hurts to see this as Judit Polgar (besides my granddad) is the chess player that got me interested in this game in the first place back in the latter part of the 90's. But… THAAAANK YOU! Your content is still about the top 3 best on this platform. I always learn mad new things from your videos. I am ever so grateful that you share your knowledge. You the ♜!!
nice game, explaing slowly enough for a patzer like me to follow the game and the excellent caveats explaining better moves was illuminating. nice video, thanks
Polgar is semi-retired now of course but still very rare to see her so horribly roasted right out of the opening. Great commentary.. especially the merit of Qe1+ holding the bishop over other alternatives. Incidentally, Polgar dynamic tactical style is more suited to c5 or g5, thus, real surprise she chose d5.
In trying to get my head around this game I could only come up with one explanation: Freaky Friday, the old Disney live action film. However, in this scenario, Judit played like I do for one game 'cause I was temporarily Judit. When she saw what I had done she immediately snapped back to herself. All these years later she still won't take my calls! :^) Thank you Jerry for this game and continued best wishes!
I know you're being humorous but Polgar herself recognized she had deficiencies in her opening theory, and compensated them with her insane attacking skills in the middlegame
But she is judit polgar. By definition, she does not lose. Using facts and logic, we must conclude that this game didn't happen or you switched the players' colors.
She played very bad in the opening..most reliable move for black is 1.d5. But you know after she conquered all the world..that time of year she didn't had to prove anything.
I believe this player was experiencing mental challenges during the game. There is no way a chess master of any level would exhibit such inconsistent gameplay. It appears that her mental state affected her ability to play with creativity and strategic clarity.

a Polgar defeat on the channel? now i've seen it all
I know right. I think it’s maybe a first. ☺️
And not only a defeat, she was crushed!!

Hi Jerry! Please do more of those rapid videos you do sometimes. They really are helpful and they really do help me fall asleep :)

Holy smokes... I didn't see that coming 😄
Nor did Judit. A sudden game ender. 😎

This game was from the 2014 World Blitz Chess Championship and she retired in August 2014, so I suppose she was not yet retired at this point :)
Thank you. I thought similar about the c5 and g5 options. 👍
I had thought she always described herself as being relatively weak in opening prep and made up for it tactically. Weak is relative of course.
Thanks jerry, this is one of the good trick from mamedyarov
I clicked like on your content 10 seconds into the video because all your videos are great. Thank you for what you do for the community.
Thank you 👍. Will it finally be Josh Allen’s year? 😎
I like the way you present the game .. You are so special .. Keep it up

Jerry, please give the game between v.anand n garry Kasparov in which vishy gives up three minor pieces against a queen in Sicilian defence
Great stuff, that ending!
I searched so hard for this one. But I had a headache so I didn't think that long. Obviously once i saw the move i was like 😮 BRILLIANT
Why was Judit playing like a 1200? very suspicious
Thanks
👍
I enjoy following this channel
Thank you for continuing to follow. 👍
Hi Jerry.. how are you doing?
Good and you?
@@ChessNetwork I'm doing great! Love your content.
It was frustrating watching her moves but that was a truly brilliant move by Mamedyarov
I have high hopes for seeing antoher chess variant video from you 🤞🏻
Surprised the sample size is so small after so few moves. Are you including games of a certain time control only?
You know why Polgar didn't play an energetic follow up and lost? Because, unlike Hikaru, she doesn't drink Red Bull.
Thx Jerry 😊
a pop quiz I got right without pausing the video. Maybe my interest in the Morra gambit trained my eyes to immediately spot when Nd5 can be played
Remember when Jan Timman was the one that played the Tromp all the time?
I like when someone has good pronunciation on fianchetto
Ouch! Thanks Jerry!
What a crazy game
Judit was a Master Aggressor that fell asleep at the wheel. $#!T happens
Nd5 is a beautiful move
A4 was available for the black queen.
wow that hurt
What a move!!!!
Ouch!
Hey Jerry, I love your videos. is it possible not to spoil the results?
Wow what a surprise.
The Shak Attack!
😎
interesting how u put polgar on the thumbnail but not mamdyarov
90% of jerry subscriber is polgar fan :)
Shaq-nasty
Hi Jerry.
Wouldn't it be pronounced "Trompovsky"?
But she is judit polgar. By definition, she does not lose. Using facts and logic, we must conclude that this game didn't happen or you switched the players' colors.
😎
Fun Fact: The shortest miniature was GM Gibaud vs. GM Lazard in Paris in 1924.
1. d4 Nf6 2. Nd2 e5 3. dxe5 Ng4 4. h3 Ne3 0 - 1
Not gms
Play with me,l am WCD (Recently World Biggest Chess Player),nice person. This is title game, play ❤❤❤
I didn't know Judit could lose...
I still love her.
😎
It would have been far better to have shown the match and then shown the slow-format analysis. Eleven minutes for an eleven move game is too much.
I’m going to stick with my 17-year-old format, and cover games in what I believe to be an appropriate way that’s independent of a timer.
Hate to see her lose. Love to look at her though. 😍
Absolute cringe
You are lose from WCD (Recently World Biggest Chess Player)
Wait, Judit can lose?
If she can't lose then she's in magnus level

Hi Jerry make a video with GMs playing anti theory lines to lead the game in a open battle ,we love all your videos anyways..
Tony miles vs karpov is in my mind
Man, it's been a rough week for Judit. She had to resign as head of the secret service too!
The Trompowsky Attack is a totally gay opening.
Aren't there some rules against using totally gay openings? Like FIDE rules or whatever?
Bad game and doesn't need so detailed analysis
You’re possibly the most boring and slow chess presenter on the internet. You could learn a thing or two from chessbase India

polgar loss im glad
Judit Polgar is the female version of Magnus Carlsen. She has only lost extremely rarely...Greetings to all chess Friends 🏍🚗🦣
Hi Jerry.
