Yeah, he was a really sound guy. When Straker flagged him with the rifle after the first shot, I was like NO don't kill him he's a sound bloke! 😂 but absolutely class video otherwise.
@@ThomasStraker ..Also really enjoyed the length of this, thank you! If you don't mind me asking Thomas, which model/make of sunglasses are you wearing in this? Are those vintage, or still available..?
@ThomasStraker Living in the US for 25 yrs,I was surprised to see ur Guide/ Stalker owning that caliber of Rifle ( what with the rigid gun Laws) And even though I don't eat Red Meat anymore I would be more than proud to cook that up for someone, that was a impressive Sandwich ( meal) Great job,u hunted, shot, butchered,,cooked and Ate it.. I think u might dig the US!.
Honestly you’re one of my favourite people to watch. I love your philosophy towards cooking. The best and most wholesome chef ever. Thank you for the amazing videos
Great to see a tracker who knows his stuff. Also seemed like a pleasure to work with. Great content, informative, educational, entertaining, and delicious
You are so right when talking about ‘proper food’, so much rubbish in food nowadays and it’s written on the packaging , yet we still eat it! We need to stop and think about what we’re doing. Thanks for an epic vid.
Not always. This is perfect, but commercial shoots are not ‘chill’ at all. They’re all about the pressure to provide 600 pheasants in a day’s shooting for those wealthy enough to be able to afford it…
I mean this is no different from a guided hunt that I've seen anywhere in the US. It's the accent. The British could read off a list of children that they've drowned in the past year and make it sound somehow sophisticated
I've come by 2 muntjac in France (my home) and 2 in the UK (parents home) all hit by vehicles, fresh, luke warm and gutted and skinned them myself. Cooked them in an oven with tin foil over and slowly. One full freezer later it took me ages to get through them alone. What glorious gluttony! Well done boyo on your no fuss approach to top quality quisine 👌
I just recently found your videos, and they are excellent. The Hunt is always good , but the cooking is always informative and full of humour thank you. I'm 75 love to hunt love to cook what I hunt and there is nothing better than wild game for flavour and freshness'. Thank You for sharing with us.
Sat down for and thoroughly enjoyed the entirety of the video dude. Incredible vibes and was a joy to see the full process from hunting to enjoying the food. Keep up the great work 🤙🏻
Absolute quality video, thank you for showcasing such a fantastic homage to the beautiful world of countryside pursuits. Spot on with the reference to ultra-high processed food vs the little bugger living wild and free too, an argument I use myself.
This video's blowing up pretty good huh? Loved getting to see the whole experience of hunting, butchering, and then having a lovely little picnic culminating in a heavenly-looking mess of a sandwich. Fantastic.
Regular deer I can do, but muntjacs are just too stinkin cute. There's a zoo in Taipei that has a gorilla troop living side by side with Reeves muntjac in the same enclosure. They're wonderful animals.
Thomas come to Norway and we go fishing! Excellent video in longer format. Love your cooking and genuinity (not sure if that is a word in english but hey). Keep rocking chef!
As a chef of 30 years,I can safely say, that is probably the best sandwich I've ever seen, and prepared like a pro too. Top banana mate 👍🏻 edit. I see you are a pro 😬 this is the first vid I've seen and thought you were just a hunter with an obvious passion for cooking. My bad.
Really well shot (both the munty and the video) Big fan of this longer form video with value Would love to see some beach cooking with some seafood - king crab sandwich 🧐
The tracker was an A class dude. Total reassurance after not taking the first shot, super encouraging.
yeah what a great guy, you can tell he's a good person and caring
i was JUST about to write about that. that dude is CHILLL
Yeah, he was a really sound guy. When Straker flagged him with the rifle after the first shot, I was like NO don't kill him he's a sound bloke! 😂 but absolutely class video otherwise.
So glad the long-form content is back, these are excellent!
We are getting there

Seems the Brits know how to cook after all😂
The name is a little close to Steve's meateater, but good Chanel. Just subscribed.
Came for butter, stayed for videos like this. Love from California
Awesome! Thank you!

Hunter, cooker, father, eater, shooter, butcher...
You are amazing Thomas straker..
The cinematography and color grading alone is beautiful! Love this longer form and more in depth content
It’s the talent of hunting, cooking and the skill of a few well placed curse words that make the show. Well done sir 🇺🇸
You are so right when talking about ‘proper food’, so much rubbish in food nowadays and it’s written on the packaging , yet we still eat it! We need to stop and think about what we’re doing. Thanks for an epic vid.
I love the British approach to hunting, seems a lot more chill than in other countries.
I would say, a lot more civilised, that’s not a chill approach certainly
Not always. This is perfect, but commercial shoots are not ‘chill’ at all. They’re all about the pressure to provide 600 pheasants in a day’s shooting for those wealthy enough to be able to afford it…

No different than any other country.
And just like that the heavens open for me they say one day we might be granted access.
Straight poetry
Right? Like something straight out of Milton.

Best hunt, to butcher, to cook video I've seen. Unreal. "Why's he not so fat!?" haha How everyone replys to your Insta feed. Had me in tears.
Absolute quality video, thank you for showcasing such a fantastic homage to the beautiful world of countryside pursuits. Spot on with the reference to ultra-high processed food vs the little bugger living wild and free too, an argument I use myself.

Stumbled in here by accident. I'm a lucky guy. Would love to have that kind of experience one day. Cheers!

❤what a beautiful place, and again a great sandwich that meat only needed a chimitsuri great job Tom 😊😊😊❤
Its amazing to me how small a country England is yet how much space there is, especially given its population.
Yeah so glad long form content is back it’s beautiful! Should do a knife roll video haha, there are some beauties in there!
Man this is phenomenal. Please be my cool uncle with a crazy backstory.
Yeah man that sandwich must taste amazing. As fresh as it gets and as organic too!
Regular deer I can do, but muntjacs are just too stinkin cute. There's a zoo in Taipei that has a gorilla troop living side by side with Reeves muntjac in the same enclosure. They're wonderful animals.
how can you not love this guy
Hope to see more of this type of video, really well done :)
What a great fun Tracker. Great atmosphere
You are my hero. I don't want to eat anyone's food as much as yours.
the stalker/tracker is a stand up dude just takes his time explaining everything in detail
I love cooking roe and boar necks whole with beer, cider or wine, yum 😋
Can anyone advise on who the stalker is. Top bloke. Instils a lot of confidence an patient. Cheers
Cool man just found you. You have a way with words and a skill the woke would detest, Love it thank you. 😊

Fantastic watch. Living the dream

edit. I see you are a pro 😬 this is the first vid I've seen and thought you were just a hunter with an obvious passion for cooking. My bad.
Quick question for you why the 243 on such a small deer back in New Zealand I was using the 223 for big red deer. Is it the distance
Don Straker strikes again. Great video mate.
Really interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Great content, outlandishly British.
Great video! Happy days
Really well shot (both the munty and the video)
Big fan of this longer form video with value
Would love to see some beach cooking with some seafood - king crab sandwich 🧐

My mate not mare bloody spell check
I have no idea who this guy is but I like him!!
Looks delicious. Odd how many people tell me that Muntjac doesn’t taste good but I think that says more about their cooking than anything else
Great vid. Did the deerskin go in the bin?
