Running Motul 800 on my Ktm 125 EXC :D, as i always learned is that the mixing ratio depends on the lubrication ability of the oil. Some oils are better lubricating than other (cheaper) oils.

That’s a good idea, but also seems unnecessary considering the gas pump tells you exactly how much you’re putting in. If you’re not getting gas from a gas pump that’d be a good idea tho
Okay I got a 250 Kawasaki 1998 and I just got the thing and I've been mixing it but I've been mixing my banshee at 4 mil on the Amazon cup for years and I seen like had no problem with it but today when I went right in my dirt bike I made a cop and I put it at 4 mil and I put it in a 1 gallon and I mixed it and I put it in there until I filled the tank up it seems real sluggish like on take off I don't know if it's cuz I'm adding too much oil or what
My question is my 1972 kawasaki 175 I just picked up has a 2 stroke oil container separate from gas tank which feeds the amount into cylinder while running. No need to worry about mix there right?
The best thing you can ever do to a racing two stroke is stop running straight pump fuel. The pump gas sold these days is garbage. At a minimum mix pump gas with race gas , 50/50 mix will work just fine. Use the pre mix ratio recommended by the manufacture , it will make getting the jetting right much more straight forward.
I had a blaster and used this ratio. And you can run any gas you want, either will work. One may be better than the other, your bike will tell you. It’ll run better on one of em

@@nawfghanistan no problem at all, and good question. You don’t “Have” to run it til it’s empty, it’s ok to mix the new gas mix with what’s already in there, but I like to mix as least as possible. Just to ensure it doesn’t throw off the new mix ratio too much. So I’d let it almost run out before adding the new mix.
Questions are never stupid. Always a good thing to learn homie. 32:1 is the ratio meaning 32 parts gas per 1 part oil. 32:1 is 4 ounces of oil per gallon of gas.
Your silencer is probably old/ so the packing is soaked in oil. Happens over time. You can get new 2 stroke silencer packing and re pack it. Also make sure the silicone connector piece (silencer to pipe) is good and sealed. The extra blow by will assist the oil in flinging out.
It does. But as long as both of the oils you’re using are premix oils you should be good to go. I wouldn’t continue to run different types of oil and gas however.
@@KyleKnievel when warming up, do you rev wit choke on and stuff and for about 10-15 seconds then off choke then ride it on low rpm for a bit? sorry kind of a starter, jus recently got one
@@player_valor5852 if it doesn’t need choke: can start and run without it, I don’t use it. Just start it, rev it up a couple times to clear it out then start riding. Don’t let it just idle on choke otherwise it may foul the plug.

On those cans, I mark the gallon mark because you can’t see them that well and it helps

Correct. Just add gas into the fuel tank and oil into the oil tank and as long as the oil injection works you’re good to go.
